@goldenelementxl: no i'm not. I was checking on twitter to try and order one since they were sold out at the sites I checked for a lot of people. People in Germany are saying it sold out there too.

But whatever. I got a scorpio version preordered thats all I was really commenting about.

Got mine ordered in a brick and mortar Gamestop while out running errands just now. Might actually try and make the midnight release of they do one. They told me they could sign 100 up for the pre-order and that I was 79 after opening the list at 2pm. Don't know the workers well there so they could be talking out of their backsides.

Now I can move the Xone to the bedroom and get rid of the old blu ray player and Apple tv used for Netflix.

Great, I was able to get one too, on the MS store despite someone saying they were sold out. If you failed before, try again.

@lamprey263: yeah I just checked it again I can get it into the cart but the site doesnt load on checkout due to the traffic. I might order a second one if i can get the MS Store to actually load up since the reward points are worth it. I got $115 back from reward points when I bought my nephew the X1S and this is twice the cost of that.

I know XBL Rewards are real dicks about rewards when it comes to pre-orders, not sure if it'll count, hope it does though, that's $50 back for me if it does, enough for a new game almost.

I'm not even buying this for the hardware. The compact design alone is what sold me on this. I just love compact designs and this is probably the best looking since the slim PS2. *Wii was cool too though* The Scorpio printing is really icing to a really beautiful cake.

@Chutebox: So thats why I said it regional because when I check Gamestop from here in Cali it says sold out. As do Bestbuy, Target and Amazon.
The only site that had it in stock for me was Wal-mart.

@lamprey263: I'm pretty sure it counts. Its not specifically XBL rewards its MS rewards which is anything purchased from the MS store. I got money back on my surface pro too.

As far as re-selling, I hate to be that guy but thats what I was thinking. I got a big bag of Scorpio swag from E3 too that I could bundle with it.

@oflow: Lol at that IGN tweet. Their Best Buy link was wrong and the MS store didn't open their preorders at the time of the tweet. Their latest tweet corrected the link and left out the "sold out" nonsense

I am waiting for true next gen systems.

No reason to double down on the same games only for higher resolution for the cost of a system that would start a new generation, when you can actually use that money toward a real next gen system and new next gen games.

Xbox fans seem happy enough with this so MS has at least 20 to 30M customers that can potentially double dip to keep it up.

Bought the Project Scorpio version 5 mins ago off the MS Store Canada site.

I'm gonna wait. Just cant justify the expense of the upgrade when my S works just fine. Also a bit irritating that they only include a 1TB drive for that price.

Nice catch. Just got one from their as well. I had it pre-ordered off of Amazon & Best Buy, but they both say regular edition. Just kinda waiting to see which site says they sold over their limits.

Got mine, first to pre-order at my local EB. I went with a buddy and he let another guy weasel in front of him, but he was third in line. The EB in question got 6 pre-orders allocated to that store, so immediately they were gone because by the time I turned around from my transaction store was filling up. Whatever I jumped the second they said pre-orders were live I didn't see the rest of the conference. So I can beleive that they're pretty much all spoken for by now. But whatever, chronologically I'm #1, so even if my EB pooped the bed and for some reason got fewer than 6, I'll still get mine.

And yet The Witcher 3, Battlefront 2, Shadow of War will be the games I fire up when I get it. LOL

The poster said he had a PS4 pro and PC already. If you got a PS4 pro you don't really need to buy another console for third party games. It's waste of money if you not going to touch any first party games!

I do have a PS4 Pro. I bought it day one last October. CDPR said NOPE, we aren't updating the Witcher 3 when it came out. After this E3? Oh, OK! We'll do it. Shadow Of War is going to be better than my Pro and I don't waste time playing shooters I want to play online on PS. So, I have plenty reasons to buy it because I am not you.

Nice, pre-ordered 2 scorpio editions, one for me and one for my son; wonder which tv will make it shine more, his ks8000 or my 930e.

Gamespot is giving $200 trade in credit for a Switch or PS4 pro. trade in those before Sony cuts the price and be left with a underpowered machine. lol

You don't need to have a 4k tv to see the impact that Xbox One X is going to have on games. You get down-sampling on all games to your 1080p TV. Next year the new 4k HDR 2.1 sets that have freesync 2 are going to be out and the Xbox One X will have support for them.

Mine on amazon says scorpio edition.

Just did mine I got real lucky not only did my EB only have room for 2 Xbox 1x's to be reserved but I was the first one to try since other people went online. But not only that but it got upgraded to the Scorpio edition. Cant wait till November 7th and then 11th for battlefront 2

Not sure about Europe & UK, but demand is pretty strong here in Aus apparently... places are selling out their allocations.
