Xbox One sold 35 million, how the hell with no games? (88 votes)
Yes, it deserves it. 50%
No, i don't know how! 39%
Maybe, i don't know, but maybe. 11%
Seriously, putting this into perspective something is disturbing. A console with barely any exclusives is going to outsell the Gamecube, Xbox 1 and Dreamcast. Let that sink in.
The other question is how the hell did the Xbox One sell so much, of course compared to the ps4 it's trash, but still. The system has nothing of value.
Well for those of us who don't have our heads permenantly up Sony's arse, we know that the XB1 is a solid console with great features, and actually has plenty of games. Hence why it has sold, and is continuing to sell well.

i'm nearing 300 games in my XBX liberary. I have more games than i know what to do with and have a large list of games i still want to buy. Also, i know what your hinting at, exclusives. I preffer the type of exclusives on XB head over heals more than PS4. I game on a LG C7 65" OLED, on XBX with an elite controller. Money is not an issue. In fact, I already bought and sold a PS4 this gen to try out the exclusives and everyone just wasn't for me, in fact i felt they were garage along with every other aspect of the PS4 from its services, controller and dash board as well as online functionality. Apart from multiplates i'm looking forward to this year State of Decay 2 looks more fun than any list of exclusives coming out on PS4 this year.
Your entire argument only rings true amongest the die hard group of MS haters. How it sounds coming from a player whose went all in with MS this gen, its sounds like pure idiotic despression from somebody whose mommy could afford to buy them the best for christmas. Sure there are fewer of us than you guys but their are more Mc Donald's in the world than premium burger joints. Even if the PS4 has more popularity, it's still will never match the premium quality you can get if one buys everything that is of the higest quality MS offers. PS4 is the poor mans XB, get over it.
It’s almost as if some people don’t really care if a game is exclusive or not and just enjoy playing games. You hardcore fanboys think you represent the average person that buys games when you really don’t.
@boycie: And according to the last few NPD results (since the release of the X), it's been selling well. And from memory, outsold PS4 in December. But he won't acknowledge this because he's got his head firmly up Sony's arse :)
@scatteh316: 35 million is still a lot which ever way you look at in. Not as many as PS4 for sure. But still not bad considering how royally bad MS fucked up at the start of this gen.

And how many has PS4 been shifting per month on a consistent basis?
I use my Xbone because that's what my friends play on. Most games we play are multi-plat anyway. I have a PS4 but mainly just for exclusives but it doesn't get turned on that often. Plus the menu system on the PS4 is whaaaaack. Needs some major improvements.

It didn't outsell PS4 in December either....
You really are blind
Lol, do you cows ever actually look things up before you post your bullsh*t?

Here you go.
Like I said, maybe pull your head out of Sony's arse for a second and get some fresh air :)

Hahahaha....... One region..... So these machine aren't available globally?
Talk about grasping at straws..... But...but.... it won in region for 1 months and it's now a sales monster.....Hahahahaha
It was dead last globally in December, Heck it's been dead last every month.
Also, can you provide me with an article that has actual sales numbers for December?
@undefined: You cows must be so frustrated right now. Xbox outsold ps4 over the holiday period, had it's best January ever, outsold the still freshly launched Switch in February and has better hardware, with better versions of the top selling games.
Better and more online presence which includes games, features. Sharing games I own across multiple systems with friends that also have an xbox. Having the choice to have Play Anywhere titles that I can play on my pc or Xbox, plenty of times I've bought a game and got the full backlog for free (gears 1,2,3 came with 4, Quantum Break came with Alan Wake and its expansion, Halo ODST came with Halo Masterchief collection), best place to watch MLB through the app on Xbox (yes miles better than MLB's own website using a pc or the tv and phone apps). Backwards compatibility with "free" 360 games every month, I never owned a 360 or original Xbox so this is huge for me.
I guess that's why it sold to me, and could be a good reason for other people as well.
If it sells then it obviously does have something of value. Sure you can find most of these games on pc but not everyone is comfortable using pc. What's so hard to understand about that?
Not all gamers are the deranged fanboys of system wars. I guess that's a reason. I own all systems but if I only owned the X1, that would mean that I would only miss a handful of exclusives that are truly great. And even Sony's main exclusives it's not like there isn't similar games at the same level. Tomb Raider right now is better than Uncharted, imo. Forzas keeps outscoring GT. Dark Souls 3 is a good alternative to Bloodborne.
It's not like any mentally stable person will look at the hundreds upon hundreds of games available for Xbox and say "Uh, there's no games".
Plus the X was a good upgrade. To the point that I use my PS4 Pro even less than the Switch. Also, game pass is an excellent product. And back compatibility is a nice thing to have, specially comparing with the joke that PS Now is.
Maybe just maybe those 5-6 decent exclusives each year dont matter as much as cows make them matter compared to dozens if not hundred of multiplats and other features such as BC hence why the xbox 1 sold well . Sure is not ps4 strong in sales but the difference is not as chaotic some cows think it is
The value of the Xbox One S/X just keeps going up. EA access, Game Pass, Play Anywhere, and Game Preview.
As a gamer and a parent if I had no consoles in my house and was looking to purchase something for my family right now. Xbox would win it offers more than PS4/Pro.
You guys do realise the whole "no games" is just from our forum dwelling fanboy s*** flinging BS?...
I have many MANY male friends and colleague who just buy Xbox's and PS4's and predominantly play third party games... In fact I have one college who just got a PS4 for Fifa and COD.
Like I said before majority of console sales are not because of the games or because GAMERS love the console its the average Joe's who dictate the market, they out number us and always will. Why do you think they spend millions to market games?... They don't need to market them for us we watch E3's and search for trailers, the Wii is one of the most successful consoles of all time and it did that because it marketed to families and was dirt cheap!..
I'm a gamer and I love games just like you guys but sometimes you people need to wake up and maybe take a look out the window every once and a while.
Its hard to see that as good when games are so expensive to produce these days. 35 mil would be healthy for gen 6 but those days are over for both gamers and the industry. Couple that with the fact they needed three iterations of the hardware to cross that line and its actually pretty shitty.
As an owner of both the Xbox One and the PS4, I actually have more games for my Xbox One and I think that the Xbox One is the better console out of the two.

I would say this is only true after the release of the S and the X. HDR capable, plays UHD blurays, that makes the S the primary system on my 4K TV relegating the PS4 to the bedroom tv.
Promises!A lot of FAILED Promises to trusting and gullible xbox fans!
AAA Phantom Dust REMAKE
The way in which Scalebound was cancelled has left many fans worried about the fate of other Xbox One projects. One such project is Phantom Dust which has been in development for a really long time, and was cancelled and then brought back again in 2016, and is scheduled to be released sometime in 2017.
According to Microsoft General Manager Sharon Loftis, the development on Phantom Dust is going quite well, and that they were taking their time to bring the best possible gaming experience to the fans.
Microsoft Had ‘Lack of Confidence’ in Cancelled ‘Phantom Dust’ Remake
One ex-Darkside employee recalled, “…all of a sudden there’s that two-minute CG trailer. And we were like, ‘That’s amazing.’ But at the same time, they didn’t use any of our assets, they didn’t use any of our card packs, nothing. Basically what they showed had nothing to do with the game whatsoever.”
MS even had people waiting on Sea of Thieves thinking it would be a real AAA project and it released as a $60 early access title with no content after 4 years of hype including 2 years of delays.
lol MS are subtly trying to string out the few games they announced in 2013 and 2014 til the start of the new generation because they aren't investing any more into Xbox one. The people who bought Xbox one had no idea!
