Xbox One booed out of EVO 2013

Audience members turned ugly at last week's EVO 2013 tournament, according to a video posted on YouTube showing developer and manufacturer Double Helix and Mad Catz booed off stage at the mention of Xbox One.

Representatives of both companies were on hand to show the upcoming fightstick accessories for Killer Instinct but ended up greeted by a room of boos when Microsoft's controversial console was mentioned by the duo.

Killer Instinct's first and last appearance at Evo! Tough break for MS, but Killer Instinct really did look terrible. C-C-C-C-C-Combo Break X100 in one match doesn't make up for the stiff animations and horrible decision to do a F2P model with one of gaming's most storied franchises.

I am in no way a fan of any system, but i agree to the Boo's, that means internet can piss off, and we can return to being on a gaming platform, not some POS facebook get your fanny out, teen spot picking bastard console.

Bunch of fanboys.

Sony fanboys booing the fact that game is Xbox One exclusive and Sony doesn't have any exclusive fighters lined up. In other words they were actually booing Sony. ShoulderOfOrion

Making KI F2P was an awful decision its gonna be hard enough for that game to succeed among today's  fighters especially being an exclusive on a new console. Now it has no chance but to fade into obscurity imo. Only thing it has going for it it the nostalgia factor that so many have for it but it isn't enough. It just doesn't look that good gameplay wise to be honest. The gameplay looks very mashy and far too many combo breakers. When guys who have literally only had their hand on the game for like a few moments are pulling like 30 and 40 hit combos it makes you wonder about how much depth is there. That's literally all fighting games have going for them is their complexity.
