They gave Mass Effect 1 a 9 aswell, just for comparison

Shouldn't it be a 10 then with no cons listed, seems rather odd to me.:P

But that's a great score anyways.

Someone said on ME2 forums that the only bad thing this review said about the game was the lack of drivable vehicles. Yeah, ill miss Mako too but it isnt probably be that bad since everything else is so improved.

And none of those pluses are what I'm looking for in an RPG.Vandalvideo

I would think these would be quite important to the RPG genre

Yeah, what are you looking for in an rpg?

I heard somwhere that some glitches are in the game. Like in the vehicle driving parts,that might be why it got 9 not 10.

Same here.If a game has no cons at all doesn't that mean it's perfect therefore a 10

great score but IMO ME2 deserves at least a 9.5/10. If there are no cons, how dose it not get 10/10?djsifer01

I just saw on the Bioware forum a German magazine gave ME2 a 91% So that is a 10.0/9.5 /91% / 9.0/ 9.0 so far for the scores that have come out. Game is getting great scores.

This one. there is a HUGE difference between when Strahotski is speaking and the gameplay. the gameplay looks decent and the animations looks prehistoric.

Theres no CGI during mass effect and the same happens with the sequel. Also, if you have actually watched the vids, you should know it looks alot better than ME1.

Just saying... Dragon Age... made by Bioware is way more of an RPG than Demon Souls is, in at least the way your referring to rpgs.

I dont get it, honestly. The graphics look alot improved to me, especially during gameplay

Well enemies no longer drop loot and there are only 6-ish upgradeable skills for your characters, so it sounds like the RPG elements are taking a backseat to the TPS action.

*edit* Although I've got no idea about the role-playing itself. From what I hear, the game boils down a lot of complex moral situations into fairly standard 'get good poitns/get bad points' dialogue choices, so that's a bit disappointing too.

Meh, I've already pre-ordered, so I'll find out for myself in a week and a bit.
