At E3, we announced that Xbox One would be available in 21 markets around the world at launch. This was an aggressive goal and the team has been working very hard to deliver Xbox One to as many markets as possible.

Our priority is ensuring our customers get the best Xbox One experience the first day it is available. Its the new thing, fanboys care more about the competition failing than their system of choice succeeding.

Has Sony confirmed it's launch markets yet? If it is indeed launching world wide and has superior shipment numbers, this could be a blow out right out of the gates.

This is awful. Seeing as they already struggle with those places. Now it's going to be a bloodbath. Nevertheless, if it's supply issues, then it's a wise decision to allocate more units to their 'key' territories. But horrible news nonetheless.

So Sony is getting 8 more competition free countries in EU this year....

I can hear the sound of the clicks of the pre-orders being cancelled already in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland.

Did you lose a wife or girlfriend to a MS employee? Was your Mom or Dad fired from MS? The reason I ask is you seem to have a very unhealthy fascination with ripping the XBOX ONE? We get it dude, you don't like it!! Do us all a favor and go spend sometime with your bretheren over on the Sony board. You can can all gather in a circle, sing praises to Sony and hold each other.

I'd like to know too. If Sony really can ship wordwide at a cheaper price, they'll dominate Europe. US and Cananda might be neck-and-neck with the slight edge to Sony due to the lower price.

Sucks for Japan though and the rest of Asia though. At least they can import a PS4 or Xbox One if they want to.

Dudes a loser simple as. Not to mention November is the 11th month of the year. So just because plans for 2013 are to only release in 21 markets doesnt mean the plans for 2014 are not going to be more aggressive.

So . . . if I think Microsoft needs to be taught a lesson because of

anti consumer policies

forcing gamers to accept kinnect that their own research showed no one wanted

arrogant and sarcastic comments about potential customers and military personell who were disappointed with the direction of the X1

. . that makes me a "Sony fanboy" in the eyes of fanatical little teeny boppers who worship the xbox?

World gets weirder every day.

I never got this, 25+ million Kinects were sold as stand alone accessories. How is it that no one wants the Kinect? And that is the old and vastly inferior version.

PS3 launch was stupid, but it wasn't rushed. In fact, with all the hardware problem, the Xbox360 was the rushed one.

Yeah, " as soon as possible" does sound vague..can be any time 2014 really. I guess they just picked their biggest markets to roll out first. I wouldn't directly say it's rushed. It's not easy to localize your stuff in europe with all those different languages, rules, regulations etc. We will see. One thing is for sure, now that they are taking their time with our second-class countries..they better don't make any translation mistakes.

Because those lemz i mean will not be able to get it this year...

Alot of them won't even have the choice to this year.

How is that? I realize the Xbox One is largely sold out now, but you can still buy them

It is barely launching in any countries, has a much smaller allotment of preorders allowed than PS4 and a ridiculous price tag. M$ has limited potential buyers to a very small group of people. Not to mention all the damage they did to themselves.

Anyone who thinks Xbone has any chance to come close to PS4 in sales is delusional. It is impossible.

How many more PS4 have been preordered than the Xbox One?
How many Xbox One will be available at launch in the countries the Xbox One is launching in?
Within those countries the Xbox One is launching in live nearly 1 billion people.
There is a saying "all press is good press"

The only thing impossible about the next gen consoles is their ability to wake you up with coffee they just made for you.

You seem to care more about the X1 than you do the PS4.clyde46
