At E3, we announced that Xbox One would be available in 21 markets around the world at launch. This was an aggressive goal and the team has been working very hard to deliver Xbox One to as many markets as possible.

Our priority is ensuring our customers get the best Xbox One experience the first day it is available. To do that, and in order to meet demand, we have adjusted the number of markets that will receive Xbox One in November to 13 markets, including Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Spain, United Kingdom, United States and New Zealand, in November.

We remain committed to launching Xbox One in Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway, Russia, Sweden, Switzerland, as soon as possible in 2014.

Has Sony confirmed it's launch markets yet? If it is indeed launching world wide and has superior shipment numbers, this could be a blow out right out of the gates.DerekLoffin

I'd like to know too. If Sony really can ship wordwide at a cheaper price, they'll dominate Europe. US and Cananda might be neck-and-neck with the slight edge to Sony due to the lower price.

Sucks for Japan though and the rest of Asia though. At least they can import a PS4 or Xbox One if they want to.

In September they will announce that its only 9 countries... In October is goes down to 6 and in November they will pull a "Sega Saturn" move.

I never got this, 25+ million Kinects were sold as stand alone accessories. How is it that no one wants the Kinect? And that is the old and vastly inferior version.

It is barely launching in any countries, has a much smaller allotment of preorders allowed than PS4 and a ridiculous price tag. M$ has limited potential buyers to a very small group of people. Not to mention all the damage they did to themselves.

Anyone who thinks Xbone has any chance to come close to PS4 in sales is delusional. It is impossible.

How many Xbox One will be available at launch in the countries the Xbox One is launching in? 
Within those countries the Xbox One is launching in live nearly 1 billion people.
