Wow...Resistance 3 looks bad.Sub HD(960x680),Lens Of Truth direct feed too?

Honestly...this could go down as one of the worst looking games this year.Insomniac truly dropped the ball,and than you read stuff like this

And you take a look at newest resistance and ask yourself:"What the hell is this?"

Seriously,cows who constantly bash COD graphics(MW3 the latest in series) should take a look at this and shut the **** up!All that and running at 30fps with frame drops :facepalm:

That being said the game looks nothing like that in motion. In won't win any awards for graphics but those screens make it look worse then it actually is. That being said, I'd rather see those screens then "bullshots".

Why do those screens look so much worse than the older screens? Are you cherrypicking bad shots?

it was going to be a terrible game in the first place, especially considering its competition with Killzone 3 for the PS3 shooter department, multiplayer is going to suck just as bad as the graphics.

killzone 3 will a better game by miles.

please... hardware is hardly to blame here. The graphics look pretty bad even for console standards. With that said, this shouldn`t stop it from being a great game.

Actually played the demo on my TV instead of looking at some online shots, looked good, far from bad.

Yeah it is. It looks just like KZ3 with alot less blur, no MLAA, and a lower resolution. In fact, I'd say its the exact same as KZ3 if it had no blur at all. (Ever had a match freeze in MP? All the post processing gets turned off and it takes a serious dump in quality.)

When you have no improvement left for graphics, people are quick to jump onto gameplay as the savior.

Doesn't anyone remember the beginning of this gen? No one cared/talked about gameplay. It was all about how good those games looked. Now that graphics have stopped advancing, more people are finally taking notice of gameplay :D

those resistance screenshots provided by bus looks absolutely NOTHING like killzone 3. i don't know how you could possible think that.

Insomiac already commented on the graphics of demo build of resistance 3 about 7 days ago, they said it was very old build that they pushed out to have on the bluray movie

Here is there comments on the demo, they knew people were going to complain about the graphics on the old build and said its not a final representation of the product

I doubt it will be subHD, as neither 1 or 2 was sub HD. We aren't talking about Halo, afterall.

Also, even though it may not be the graphical showcase that, say, U2 or GOW III are, the Resistance games have larger scales, more enemies, and everything is rendered in real time with physics and all that jazz.

ALL Resistance games have NEVER looked good. Believe it or not. Hell, even Halo 3 looks infinitely better than all 3 Resistance.

I still enjoy them and defiinitely will pick up R3.

But the series has NEVER looked good.

Resistance 2 seemed okay. Don't see how it could be any worse unless they tried to make it bad.

Game with bad graphics and very boring game play. Im sure cows will still hype it as AAA because its a PS3 exclusive.

Resistance series died after R2 so I would be pretty impressed if they manage to make an even worse game.

I think it looks fine after seeing the trailers, gamplay videos and screenshots. Those images, even if they are the worst possible images one could find, still look good overall:)

resistance has always been ugly. but with this one it seems they've taken the effort to set the bar even lower :lol:
