Would you see Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix make another Legacy of Kain?

So, after having two games in the Tomb Raider Dark series and having picked up two Legacy of Kain games recently (Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance), I wonder, does anyone want to see Crystal Dynamics go back to the Vampire and Soul Reaver, Kain and Raziel in their own game and give Ms. Croft a break after RoTR?

Legacy of Kain's story is finished.

Unless they rebooted it.

I'm always in for more Tomb Raider, but if they wanna dive back into previous franchises, let 'em.

I don't see this happening until after the third Tomb Raider that's already in the works. I assume that we'll see more on it at this E3 and I genuinely hope that Square learned their lesson about exclusivity for a long time multiplat title.

I would love another proper Legacy of Kain. Hopefully, it would be more in the vein of the first, though.

What if they brought back Fighting Force since Core/Eidos are no more?

Why not both new IPs, and new installments of series gamers enjoy playing more of? There's plenty of room in the industry and gamers itineraries, I say we can have our cake and eat it too.

Legacy of Kain: Defiance wrap up that series well, I'm glad Square Enix move on to other big things and this series doesn't need to be disturb from it's slumber. Let it rest.

And besides, I can always play those games through my PS2 anyways thinks to it's BC for PSX.

Just hit me. I wouldn't mind seeing what they could do with this on new consoles...

Having to suck the blood out of every enemy with a long animation to level up was not fun and made me quit the game. I'd like a reboot without that somehow

1. Cakes are for eating, so that entire idiom/expression is super silly.

2. This medium isn't exactly over flowing with new ideas, and we already get enough sequels. I'd like new things.

3. I'm not usually fond of tribute bands taking over a franchise, as I rather see the creators get cracks at proper sequels. And everyone that made Soul Reaver as good as it is, basically doesn't work at Crystal Dynamics, and **** me if we're gonna turn another game, a GAME that even went as far as to make death states make narrative sense, get turned into another cinematic wankfest with subdued walking segments.

No, resurrect Einhander instead. That game never had a sequel as far as I know, and totally deserves one.

Or maybe a true FF Tactics sequel?

Only if they they bring back Amy Hennig to write the script. Now that she's left Naughty Dog and Uncharted behind, they might be able to bring her back to Crystal Dynamics, probably as a freelance writer.

You saying like SE has unlimited amount of resources that can just make what we want all the time.

AAA development costs are rising exponentially, and considering what kid of figures SE wanted from TR series, no, I don't think they have the resources.

Sure. Its been awhile, but I remember really enjoying that franchise.
