Doesn't matter to me. If E3 comes back, then it comes back. It not, then oh well. Not gonna lose sleep over it.
I'm more accepting to the idea that E3 is an outdated showcase, and it's been outdated for many years and it was bound to go down under one way or another. Only reason why it would stick around is if someone loves it enough to finance and produce the thing, but I don't think it's ever going to hit height energy again, as many may remember E3 of old.
I think we're headed for the streaming future of how we get gaming information.
Actually getting thousands of people worldwide to participate in events takes a lot of recourses, and it's caved in over the years when the popularity of E3 has declined.
We're gonna see more of the video format by all the companies. Why run these big expensive shows that's not even practical in a pandemic world, when all they have to do now is upload a YouTube video and give a lineup for an entire year?
