Price wasn't the only problem it had at launch. The DRM fiasco at the reveal, forcing Kinect and the weaker hardware.
@LJS9502_basic it definitely beat the PS3 last gen. Might not have won in sales over the Wii but it had the games AND sales over PS3 just about the entire gen. Good enough for MS and a mark on Sony.
by the end the ps3 had more sales than the 360 and with 1 year less on the market too
By the end of what? No official numbers EXCEPT the ones from both companies and that showed the 360 was ahead. Sorry dude no matter how much you wanted the PS3 ahead, it failed and the Wii has 1 less year as well but that didn't stop it. Keep making excuses though

LOL no. Official numbers show no such thing.
The last MS and Sony numbers did. They sure as hell didn't show the PS3 ahead, not by the start of this gen. It's ok though, you'll get over it some day.
