Twitter is not a reliable source..... Even if Shinji Mikami himself says he's already begun work on The Evil Within 2.... It confirms didly squat !
Guess he wouldn't know anything about that
Well Destiny definitely laid the ground work for what could be a fantastic series this generation. Now the reality says that this is Bungie and they wont release a game until it is ready. I personally wouldn't expect Destiny 2 until Fall 2016 at best. Here are my wants for the sequel....
1. Better story
2. player to player item trading
3. crafting
4. class specific weapons. they have class specific armors, so why not?
5. the ability to play as the aliens in multiplayer just like in Halo.
6. bigger multiplayer maps and more gametypes...i.e. CTF, Attack and Defend and some sort of big team battle.
@ghostwarrior786
Not for an MMO....
Not for anygame designed using Skinner Box methods, the idea is to maximize profits for as little work and content as possible... A sequel kinda defeats the purpose of an MMO, even after 10 years.
its not an mmo

You need sequels. You look at the difference between GW1 and GW2.
I'll be sure to not buy any Destiny stuff for the upcoming future.
I enjoyed my 25 hours with the game, but everything after that is flat-out grindy garbage.
Da 10 year plan!
Wait...? you thought they were going to support Destiny "1" for 10 years? LOL , aren't you cute.
@clyde46
and......... ?
Is Guild Wars the only game ?
It was an example damnit! Stop being difficult.
He does this just to start shit
In the words of Char: "You're literally creating an argument for the heck of it. I've seen you do this a lot, you enter a thread, and then make a strawman argument going completely contrary to what the thread is about, just to be contrarian. Stop."
But atleast you had fun before the Grindy Part right ?
Yeah, I did. Me and wolverine played it a lot. And it was fun, but the end-game stuff is just not good.
Btw, I got Legend of Korra :p
Already pledging not to get it after the mess Destiny is, I mean people here love to bitch about DLC yanking content out of a game, even in cases where it's not really applicable but damn, this game is the best example of such a horrible tactic. Here's a chance to put your money where your mouth is.
Well.... ? DETAILS ! ! ! :D
Combat is pretty simple. I like the effects though. I don't wanna comment on the narrative or story, since I'm just not familiar with the universe.
A lot of people said the combat gets better the more you play. You upgrade to better moves the more you use an element. I'm really digging the water element. It looks nice, and it's effective.
How can they work on finishing DLC for Destiny 1 if they're already working on Destiny 2?
Oh wait Destiny 1 DLC is already on disc and finished.
It's Activision, so this isn't surprising at all. A new game every 1-2 years doesn't really work for this type of game, though. They should make an expansion instead.
@Lulu_Lulu: I do like Metal Gear Rising. Good parry system.
Yeah, this game seems like something fun to get on sale. I just grabbed it, because I'm a consumer whore like that. It's not all bad.
How does it compare to Amazing Spiderman ?
I haven't played those :p
I heard it's like a clunky Batman Arkham game.
They kept saying Destiny would have a 10 year life cycle.. so if they release Destiny 2 within a couple years it makes all their claims about Destiny false. I won't be buying Destiny 2. They claim a 10 year life on Destiny then they need to be working on a lot of awesome content. Not some quick dlc packs for money grabs while they work on the sequel.
Heard the samething.... If only the 1st game wasn't still $40 on XBL then I might have gotten it by now....
Jeesh. That's a lot of money. Especially considering the 2nd one is out.
Licensed movie games >.>
No surprise was had. It makes sense considering the 10 year plan and who both the dev and publisher are. I expect at least 3 more "expansions" priced at $20 each to be released before the sequel is out. That will be the magic $100 in DLC that Activision wants.
Hopefully there is an actual story in the sequel. Destiny has about as much story content as Titanfall.

Well, a few years ago this was already revealed. When we were privey to the released Activision Bungie contract, it showed Destiny and Activision were going to be cooking out a decade of these Destiny games. We are set until 2020+ of Destiny from Bungie. They are locked in.
