Sorry, I just thought this was funny. ;)

I think most of the bugs are multiplayer related, not to say the SP isn't without them, but yeah the online is a lot worse, I have a feeling it's a mix of player hosting and no dedicated servers as well.
@Ant_17:
Maybe the lack of an edit feature is part of the reason why there are so many mispelled tweets.

To be honest, I am really enjoying SOD2 with bugs and all. It's really a fun and addictive game.
The game won't start for me on PC. I logged a ticket with support and they never replied. Really disappointed.
Been playing the co-op on the PC version with a bud. It's fun, but man, sometimes it seems just plain broken. So many damn bugs.
If you have a set character limit it's not uncommon for people to write things that don't quite make sense to save a few characters for other words.
@DragonfireXZ95: You didn't run into the issue where the logo screen pops up but then the game crashes, did you? I can't even get my game to play.
@xantufrog: Oh I can absolutely run it. There's no good reason it shouldn't run.
GTX 1080, AMD Ryzen 5, 16GB RAM.
The game boots up, I see the game's logo and then it crashes...
I went through the troubleshooting suggestions on the official website but it made no difference.
@jumpaction: I had the same problem with Recore. Was never fixed. I think it might be the *$%^ing app-based system. I've had so many issues with the Xbox App games that I don't have elsewhere... but why it would work for some games and not others I couldn't say
@xantufrog: I think that is the most likely situation. I believe it has more to do with the Windows App Store. In which case, when I get home, I might try to focus my attention on that instead of troubleshooting the game itself.
It's very disappointing if that's the case. Given that there are no other purchasing options for some Microsoft games on PC, they'd want to put some effort into fixing their storefront. If all else fails, I'll install State of Decay 2 on Xbox One. I really want to avoid paying for Xbox Live Gold though...

I haven't gotten that particular crash. Mine has crashed when I get to the main menu where it says press a button, and after I press a button it crashes, but only a couple times. Is it in windowed mode or full screen when you start it? You could try alt-enter as soon as it starts up and see if that stops it from crashing.
@DragonfireXZ95: Thank you for the tip. I ran some scripts via the Powershell console to see if that might reset my Windows Store application. Now I'm going to try and reinstall the game and give your suggestion a try. :)

I know your pain, man. I've already done that 2 times with the Windows store. Once when I was trying to install Gears 4 and it wouldn't install, and another time with the Xbox controller app. It's so shoddily designed. I've only used it to install a handful of games, and ran into way more problems than I ever should have.
@xantufrog: @DragonfireXZ95: No luck getting the game to run yet. I'm still facing the same issue. Tried running 'wsreset'. Maybe this might make a difference.

So, another way I solved it was just downloading the media creation tool and reinstalling windows 10 by choosing upgrade. It'll reinstall windows, but luckily, you won't lose any programs or files. It'll reset the windows store, and I've gotten it to work well after that. Just make sure you choose to keep your files when it asks.
@DragonfireXZ95: Yeah, I could run through the reinstall process for Windows. It might not hurt but it's also a lot of effort. I'd sooner just install the game on my Xbox One. I'd much prefer to play it on PC, but if it came to reinstalling Windows, I'd be willing to switch to Xbox first.
Thank you for the suggestion.

It's not that bad, actually. The reinstall just lets you hit the initial start button, and then it'll take about 30 minutes to run through it all by itself. You won't even have to do anything except hit the restart button once it's done(there's also a timer). One thing I do love about Windows 10 is reinstalling is a breeze.
@DragonfireXZ95: Ah that doesn't sound too bad at all. Maybe that is worth doing instead.
I'm trying to install the game on another drive first.
Think because everyone was working on the 20gb patch that just dropped. Cant wait to fire it up tonight.
@BigBadBully: yeah SCORE, we should lighten up on them because they made a game that needs a TWENTY GB patch. Do you have any idea how frustrating that is for me? My computer and bandwidth are going to be tied up with a game sized patch now that likely won't fix the biggest problem with the game: its dull and repetitive task structure in the service of an unlikable and wafer thin band of characters.
It's a mediocre product. As far as I'm concerned, the best "patch" is to play it with friends. Then it becomes a good sandbox for hanging out in
@xantufrog: its a small team so its impressive they got it out so quick. It stinks about your pc and bandwidth, its never going to be an ideal situation for everyone.
You can follow them on twitter or check their website for the full patch notes, might solve ur problem or not.
I find the game to be a lot of fun and nails the zombie survival simulation to a T. Love going on resource runs, or hunting infestations and plague hearts, then getting random quests radioed in. Adding on top any time out of the community, one false step and it can go south quick. The emergent gameplay found in State of Decay 2 along with base building and exploring is the most fun ive had in a game this year(coming off conpleting god of war 4).
