It could happen and I hope it does, but the odds of BioWare making it are pretty slim since they are owned by EA and focused on their own IPs now (aside from SWTOR which was being developed before they were acquired). I think its a stretch to expect Obsidian make it also since they seemed to have a bad relationship with LucasArts during the development of KOTOR2. I would like to see CD Projekt RED make it, personally.
A few years ago I would have been happy about ToR, but I don't have time for an MMO anymore, so it's basically useless for me. I would much prefer a single player sequel.

If they cel-shaded(aka "toon shading") it, it'd still need fluid animations (it doesn't have that) it looks to have some exaggerated Fresnel effect on everything, absolutely terrible.
Also that link, comparing it to WoW, a 2004 game :lol: But even that has wonderfully smooth animations and an acceptable art style, also comparing it to the 2004 models, not the 2011 ones :roll:
To be honest, I hope- for the love of everything alive - BioWare doesn't TOUCH Star Wars anymore. Ever since Jade Empire's 'menage-a-trois' and Mass Effect, I've felt nothing but disgust for BioWare. It seems to me that they've made sex scenes a completion requirement for any of their games, and it sickens me to know that. I can take heavy romance and violence, but I draw a very clear-cut line at sex. Call me childish, a nutcase, old-fashioned; I don't care. I do not want sex in my games; if anything, for my kid cousins that visit my house and play my Xbox while I'm not around. Get that **** out of here and keep them in the adult stores.

Rated 'M' 17+ for MATURE ('R' is also 17+) There are age appropriate games, for your cousins to see/play (E-T). And I always enjoy, "Intense violence, murder, fine 100% A-Okay, but SEX, now that's just gone too far." :roll:
Now, I think the 'sex' scenes are a bit silly, since they are so muted. It just comes off as cheesy, hardly more than poorly animated kissing.
I highly doubt an MMO is going to include scripted 'sex' scenes however, so no need to fear, just foul language and... animated dipictions of muder.

Plus the KOTOR team is going to be tied down with TOR post-launch development for quite a number of years. The only thing you can hope for is that you get a KOTOR spin-off sequel.

Plus the KOTOR team is going to be tied down with TOR post-launch development for quite a number of years. The only thing you can hope for is that you get a KOTOR spin-off sequel.
And even that's unlikely if TOR is a hit(which it will be no doubt). You can expect the teams to be focusing on expansions and updates after release until they decide to make a TOR2.
