That one SMG screenshot with Mario on the small green planet kind of reminded me of Spore :lol:

Those screens all look good though, and No More Heroes looks much better in motion.

The Mario game looks very plastic and ridiculously shinely. Flashy at first, yes. Second look, the "good graphics" about it, is pretty much gone ever since the focusing kicks in.

Art style and making some things look like plastic-shiny dolls=/better graphics.

I've been wondering about Forever Blue,is it like Wii's Afrika but underwater?

After playing a PS3, i just couldn't put up with those trashy visuals.

a "vast improvement" means that the graphics have improved greatly from past examples...it has nothing to do w/ whether or not the graphics of the launch titles lived up to the potential of the wii's hardware. with your logic, you'd have to say that the 360 and ps3 games in years to come aren't vastly improved either, b/c the hardware has always been capable of these newer, better looking titles that are coming out. your logic fails.agrippi

Need for Speed is actually the first time I see a relistic racing game on Wii with licensed cars. I had been wondering if Wii could do a game in the same vein as beautiful asGran Turismo. I am pleased to see that the Wii does not dissapoint.

No more heroes and guilty gear look really crappy. You shouldn't have put them in this list.

Also those pictures for the new need for speed are the same for Wii, PS3, and 360. So their most likely taken from either the 360 or PS3.

oh boy, all of those games look awful by today's standards, and mario galaxy looks way too plasticy (is that a word?). this really isnt an improvement, its more like having standards set way too low - something i've noticed with a lot of wii fans lately. and that nfs is not from the wii ;)

No More Heroes is actually the worst looking in that group of screenshots. Now I know what they say about screenshots, but really, it looks bad compared to those games. TekkenMaster606

Are you sure those Pro Street shots are for the Wii? they look like normal promo shots, which usually use the 360. Anyways, nice thread. Proves what I (or should I say we?) already know. The first Prime 3 shot looks amazing , though.kiruyama

Agreed, also those Need for Speed screens are not from the Wii version. They just aren't.

Metroid Prime 1 & 2s screenshots looked far worse than the actual gameplay. There's just something about the Metroid Prime series that screenshots and videos always look blurry, with too much bloom. I guarentee that Metroid Prime 3 will look much better than the screenshots, or at least much cleaner.

the only game that looks remotely good is super mario galaxy

and thats only because it uses cartoon graphics
