Is this your first proper gen because thats what everyone thinks of there preferred platform the first time round. I still cant get past the nostalgic value of the N64 :)

Well, since the Wii is capable of playing GameCube video games, and GameCube was my favorite console, I guess so. Plus, there are a few good Wii video games out that are actually worth buying. There are ton of VC video games for low prices. Some are bad, but the quality of the good ones more than make up for it. If it didn't play GameCube video games, then that's hard to even say it's the best Nintendo console out this early in its life-time! But everything is improved upon, including the graphics. Hopefully Nintendo will actually make the online play superb.

It's way too early to tell. It has some good qualities, but we haven't really seen it's full potential unlocked. However, if they release a STAR WARS game that let's you control DUAL WIELDED LIGHTSABERS with the Wiimote and Nunchuk, it will become my very purpose for existance. I can only imagine how great that would be.

I forgot that crappy one. Ok, Wii is the worst Ninty console counting from NES. SNES is by far the best Ninty console.

What do you mean by "counting from the NES"? The Virtual Boy was released just prior to the N64.

SNES by far >>> Wii

1. Better 3rd party support
2. Nice graphics (for what the machine was capable of at the time)
3. Developers actually cared how their games looked and played on SNES hardware, unlike Wii.
4. Developers actually cared about the SNES
5. Nice games that kept rolling in. SMW, LoZ ALttP, Doneky Kong Country, SM All Stars, Mario Kart, SF2, Contra 3, F-Zero, Castlevania 4....and of course MK2! Priceless!
