why won't they just release mgs4 for 360 already?

they're about to re release it with a patch and trophies....we have the hd collection, plus rising is coming out multiplat. WHY don't they just release it for 360 with acheivments? on the original xbox we got substance....but no snake eater, then gamecube was blessed with twin snakes and no one else....smh. They should just make it a multiplat game 100 percent, I don't understand

kojima has said its never going to happen, MGS4 has alot of inside jokes, codecs and cutscenes that involve the ps3 and psp.

how ironic is it that some one postedo n their sig sony domination continuation because you know what- - - i think its nintendomination continuation not sony, sony is losing big time! 3dsxl is taking it to the vita and ya xbox360 cant handle it oh wait a minute if 360 cant handle it then why does gta iv driver sf quantum of solace cod , etc look better on 360 and why does quantum of solace have split screen on wii and not ps3 lol ---if anything cant handle anything its ps3 ,

in fact the cell was giving developers so much frustration that factor 5 free radical midway and a host of others had to close up shop!

Licensing is why, it has nothing to do with the 360 can't handle it if it were ported, if that were true then it's the devs who aren't very talented. If CD Project Red can get the Witcher 2 to run pretty close to the medium settings of the pc version on the 360, then MGS4 should be a piece of cake.

Well 2 reasons:

1:Would take allot of time money and effort to port a game built from the groumd up for the ps3 to 360, for a potential gain that shrinks with every passing year.

2: The game is filled with tons of pro Sony & pro Apple content & product placement.

I believe the biggest reason it wont happen is because it would be on 5 discs on xbox360 anyway.comptonst88

I imagine if they compressed the audio, it could ship on three dual layer DVDs. Not ideal, but a far cry from the "lol 10 discs on 360" hyperbole. Having said that, I doubt it would be worth the time or money to port the game at this point.

could fit on a single disc, the reason it was 24gigs was because of uncompressed 7.1 audio.
