Why hasn't FF VII been manufactured?

I think it's being remade. Think about it; FF VII hasn't been manufactured (Even though FF VIII and IX have.), since the ps3 was announced. And has anyone seen the secret ending to FF VII: Crisis Core? It say's "To be continued in FF VII." then show's the intro of FF VII (Not the tech demo.)

I'm not saying there will be a remake, it's just it hasn't beenmanufactured since the ps3 was announced. So that seems a little fishy to me.

I'll sell you mine for $100 I got the case and manual and everything in perfect condition. The game is garbage. Besides the dude with the Frankenstein power.JiveT

Well, they just redid 1 and 2 on the PSP and 3 on the DS. A redo of 4 is on the way. I would assume a redo of 5 followed by 6 will be after...and the finally 7.

The question is, after the year and a half plus it takes for all those games to come out, will any devs still be backing the PS3 strongly enough?
