Why not a GOOD 3d Castlevania?  It could be huge, having a near Zelda like level of epicness.  A decent story, interesting things to do.  Invest the time and money and it will come back many times over in profits.

A Starcraft MMO for both PC and console.  WOW's 8.5 million subscribers would look like nothing when compared to what a Universe Of Starcraft would bring in.  Why not, Blizzard??

Descent 4.  Was being made, cancelled, reborn as cheesy Red Faction.  Everyone remembers the Descents.  Polish a 4th game up and give it good online and put it on consoles and it will sell like pancakes.

How about a Sonic that doesn't suck?  It's not that hard, Sega.  What made the original Sonic great?  It was fast, fun, and cool.  It was also unique.  Take a lesson from Nintendo on how to translate 2d into 3d.  Sonic was basically a one man racing game in side scroll.  Get some good music in an original 3d game world and you're in business.

Duke Nukem.  'nuff said.

feel free to add to the list.
