why do people get so upset because i'm not a battlefield/call of duty fan?

people ask me....whats ur favorite shooter? i say....crysis, and then the reign of i'm an idiot, i have no taste...blah, blah, blah, i've owned em all....and my choice is crysis, and crysis 2....i love killzone also. why does every get so upset? takin it personal?

If you know enough people who are completely up in arms about your love for Crysis and Crysis 2 that you feel the need to make a thread about it, it's clear that you need to meet some new people.

I don't have any of the CoD games or BF3 either. If people ask, I just point to my 2 copies of BF2 and tell them I'm burned out on MW games. I also prefer the three Crysis games.

It's similar with the CS or Quake fanboys. They all are simply bonehead fanboys that don't realise that there is other stuff other than what they like. Personally I prefer good tactical shooters or good shooters with big enviroments like Farcry, Crysis and STALKER.

Well TC I think people want a clear reason. For the most part if you like one shooter you should like them all. IF the controls are tight and right. Keep in mind that "liking" doesnt mean you LOVE IT or play it daily. I didnt care for Crysis that much. ANd i really disliked HL2 for PC..Not sure why? I just didnt like the atmosphere and some of the levels and such I guess..BUT they were "OK" and I did play them.

In my opinion..COD and BF are pretty good games. I loved COD2..One of the best compeditive shooters Ive ever played outside of MOHAA/SH for PC..

Where else is this going to go? It's a good chance for COD / Battlefield people to have at it, and it's still a more worthy topic than some of the other stuff I've been seeing (especially anything by hadoken).

Because everyone talks about ''teh multiplayerz''. I ain't a fan of CoD either. I prefer Battlefield. Amateurs they are if you ask me.
