Why was Zelda: TP hyped then? Stupid argument. The PS2 is not a dead system - not yet anyway - so to ignore a great game on that system that is about to be released in favor of "teh next gen" is naive.

Why are people trying to solely blame that on lemmings? But anyways, it's not like it matters most of the people on this forum have a ps2 and will probably get it. So it's kinda like a multiplat.

My fault.  I meant as of right now.  I know each faction is guilty of this, but with Crackdown flopping the lems (fanboys) are the current stooges using this argument.

Simply because they're the most recent ones to want to do that.

Cows and Sheep did it, but Lemmings are the most recent offenders.

See at the end of the ign review, it says GOW 2 may be the best action game ever made. That means any game, on any system . And yes it looks awesome, sony has themselves a  first party killer app!!!, you might as well count on a ps3 sequel.

They are claiming ownage because

a) PS2 is still pumping out AAA games after 7 years while Gamecube and Xbox died after 4-5 years

b) fan-boys assumed a last gen game can't get AAA because of next gen gaming

c) Sony is really catering to their fans by not abandoning PS2

Why are you using past tense? It's not out yet. And the gen does not affect "ownage" It is on a sony console, and cows are the sony fanboys, thus if GOW 2 is indeed ownage worthy, they have every right to claim it ( although claiming ownage is pointless anyway IMO)

well if this is a last gen game then Wii owners need to admit that the Wii is last gen too, cus all they say is that the GEN is based upon release date ond not the hardware(or in this case, software)
