It'll be a great stand alone console all generation long for any gamer not wishing to jump into the PC realm... Outside of that, it will struggle with multi platform gamers who don't appreciate the idea of buying another console that has only a handful of unique games to play... Long story short, MS will win me back when I know that the money I drop on the console gets me games I can't play elsewhere....

Pretty simple, games i'm interested. So no Xbox One for me.

time will influence me, I probably won't get one at a launch but depending on what I read about the system post launch will probably make a big difference on what console I decide to go with, if I could choose pre-launch I'd go with an X1 over the games available, post launch though I'm going to carefully see what people have to say, and I'll take cow praise with a grain of salt since they can hype shit

The only way I will ever buy this system is after the kinect-less SKU comes out. No way I'll buy that shit knowing what microsoft is going to be doing with it.

I already see a handful of games I'd like to play on it, but not for $500.

Its fate rests on Halo 5. If that game were to somehow be as awesome as Halo 3, then I think I'd have to get one.
