Which of these two looks better, Just Cause 2 or RDR?

I have been playing both lately and curious to how everyone else felt, as far as which game looked more impressive, RDR, or JC2? On one hand I would like to say RDR, but then again JC2 has such an amazing draw distance, with very vibrant colors. Both are very nice looking, but it's too close to call for me.

Just Cause 2 for me. Amazing draw distance, lots of colors, better lighting. Not really fair though since I play JC2 on PC.

From seeing both on the PS3, definetly JC2.

I remember being really impressed with RDR's graphics... not so much JC2.

JC2. I really liked the game, what turns me off is the protagonist its corny as hell and the shooting is pretty lame and repetitive, but everything is great plus the Openess of the game

JC2 obviously. But what is with people praising JC2's draw distances? While it has huge environment draw distances its objects are a different story.

to be honest i think RDR had better character models and a more detailed environment and far better animations.

On consoles I think RDR.

RDR by far for me.

RDR on consoles by faar.MUCH much better animations,very dynamic and organic feel to the world,MUCH better lighting and textures.Best weather effects etc.And yea...some of the best water I have seen in game...

For PC obviously maxed out JC2.On consoles RDR is much better.

Honestly? I can't say which one looks best, because both shine in different areas. For OVERALL graphical quality, I would definitely say JC2. It's a beautiful game with a lush paradise (subject to change ;) ) with massive draw distances and vibrant colors.

However, IMO, RDR has better, and more natural animations. I'm not speaking so much with the main character you are controlling, but I'm talking about the groups of people around you. In JC2 they can look awkward. But in RDR, the NPCs move around naturally, creating a more "living"
environment.

If it's strictly looks (no tech taken into consideration), I like RDR better.

RDR is a joke compared to JC2. In every department, not just visuals. I played both at the same time as well... and found it hard to go back to playing RDR after getting into JC2. Now, that isn't to say I didn't find JC2 boring after a while... but the entire way through RDR felt like a chore, and had no redeeming value or memorable moments (except maybe that first feeling of grandeur of the Old West... slowly fading into the realization that the Old West is boring to begin with).

JC2 was just unadulterated "fun" wrapped up in a great action-everywhere package.

RDR looks better on consoles no doubt, but then there's the PC version of JC2 which I haven't seen.

JC2 on pc is just wow, plus it runs pretty nice
