Which is the best Sony franchise?

How do you define Sony franchise? Several of them aren't owned by Sony oO

Uncharted series

That's a lot of crap.. I dunno..
There are a few good games on Sony hardware, but not really any franchises that I have any interest in.

Shit, this is a tough one! Guess I'll go for Uncharted series and I played them all and find myself enjoying the series alone. Follow by God of War & Twisted Metal series.

Voted Uncharted and I do enjoy a good treasure hunter adventure gaming.

So do I. I will say Twisted Metal Black was the best Twisted Metal game yet and the latest one was such a disappointing. If you see another Twisted Metal game from Sony, it probably won't have David Jaffe involved. And if Jaffe isn't involved, Sony may not care. I'm assuming you didn't hear that Jaffe's studio is undergoing some layoffs and is considering closing shop. If you care about TM, then your sequel rides on that news.

At this point, I think they should remake TM1 and 2 remake/Crash N Sane Trilogy style and see how that sells. I love this franchise and I hope it gets revived again in the future.

Twisted Metal Black was by far the best.

From my PS1/PS2 days my favorite was Twisted Metal, love the car combat games and not many good ones out there. God of War also was great, Gran Tourismo too although I'm more of an arcade racer fan overall.

I pick Uncharted but those games are one and done. For fun factor + overall replay value I'd go with Infamous.

New twisted metal is needed! I choose horizon, since I feel that will be the future Sony franchise. Probably should of went with Uncharted, since that's the correct answer lol. Kinda glad uncharted had it's run and now new IPs are coming.

Uncharted is a good franchise

But Sony has a lot and you cannot just pick one.

Infamous is the franchise I've had the most fun with from Sony.

I gave Resistance the vote as 1/2 felt like fairly unique games in the genre. Resistance 3 (from what I remember) started getting a little closer to the typical FPS games in the genre (online multiplayer too for that matter). I would have voted TLOU, but I want to see what they do with a second entry as the Uncharted series has been a bit of a roller-coaster.

Depends on what you mean by best.

My personal faves would be Horizon and TLOU, but since both currently only have one game published, they don't really count as franchises.

I would consider the best Playstation franchise as a franchise that was the most prolific, has had the biggest impact, and has been around the longest. Gran Turismo.

Ratchet & Clank or Gran Turismo. This list highlights the sad state of Sony exclusives. Cows always trumpet the number of exclusives they have, but it's not about quantity. The two most iconic Playstation franchises today are movie games, which is just embarrassing. It seems Sony forgot what the "Play" in "Playstation" is supposed to stand for.

Gran Tursimo overall, although the latest edition is pure trash.

Have to go with God Of War on this one. So many awesome moments! I like how pure it is both in terms of theme and design. The feel of the story/world/characaters and the gameplay compliment eachother perfectly. It's just rage from beginning to end lol.

For me it’s GT and Uncharted. Maybe GT a little more since every time I’ve bought a PS console it’s been because of GT. I used to be a hardcore Hermit/SEGA fanboy and I didn’t get into the PS1 train till I saw GT and was completely blown away. Eventually I grew to love the PlayStation platform and its exclusives but if it wasn’t for GT I’d probably be a 100% Hermit by now.

I wasn't a big fan of TM 2012 when it came out, but changed my mind after replaying most of the series a few months back. It's in my top 3 now. Still don't care for the story mode or that they got rid of so many characters, but the local multiplayer is just a bigger, prettier, more polished take on the older games.

Black is still best though.
