Which is the best retro console; Classic NES, Classic SNES or Classic X1X???

Hey guys!

I want to get into retro gaming, but I dunno which of the new retro gaming consoles would be the best for me;

-Classic NES with it's truly nostalgic games that are huge part of gaming history

-Classic SNES with it's much more advanced games (compared to NES)

-or the Classic X1X from Microsoft, with it's selection of classic OXB games from the 00's.

My tastes in game are pretty diverse, I love platformers, driving games and shooters too...

Money is no objection here, so if you think the Classic X1X would be the best for me, then I'll go with that. Even tho it costs ten times the price of Classic SNES...

Consider getting a PS4, they have great remakes of old games and if money isn't really an issue you won't have problems buying the same game several times. Also you can stream old games with PS Now. Great value!

Xbox one plays the original xbox games its not every game but its growing, just stick the disc in and play or there's digital download. I've got a NES (top-loader) and I don't touch it, it just packed away wrapped in plastic with silica packets. I use emulators if I want to play. Tho it did get rereleased and you can get them for $30 if money isn't an issue why not get all 3?

Snes classic. For classic X1X I have my PC with last gen GPU.

SNES Classic, the retro games on it are

pretty iconic and the same can't be said about the games that run on X1X

I would take the SNES, but some here were never born when the 360 came out.

None of those, get yourself a retrocompatible Wii. You can play NES, SNES, GBA, GC and Wii games.

Xbox 1 X. Significant improvements, always in stock, and if you own the game already it's free.

It starts with E and ends in R. PC is all you need and you having the biggest retro library available out of any other console.

Who in his right mind will buy a plastic box that resembles of old SNES or something with an emulator in it with 20 games or something which most problably you wont be liking all of them. No damn way.

In this era, paying so much for retro gaming is QQ imho. Everything is out there, search. Dont let greedy companies selling you 30 years old games for so much.

I got my Raspberry Pi yesterday and will go with that as being best. 10k games ranging across 15 or so systems.

Yeah... that beats the hell out of both Microsoft and Nintendo.

TLHBO, they paid $500 for retro gaming.

Sorry but X1X wins by a $500 mile. Nothing can beat a console designed specifically to play old games in 4k.

What annoys me about the Classic X1X that it does not have any OXB games pre installed in it!

MS should have done like Nintendo: preinstall at least 20 great OXB games to their X1X.

Its real bother; you buy the Classic X1X, thinking you get to play all your fave OXB games, but then you find out you have to buy the games off amazon!!! WTF???
