Dark souls 3 without Doubt. Very Addicting :)
Well? :)
Hmmm... both are on the PS4, Xboner, and PC... Without any sort of exclusivity, I can't determine which one is the best game.
I'll just say both are the best game... On PC >:D
you can check my witcher 3 review for more detail. its alright game nothing more, nothing less. havenot played dark soul 3 because couldnot get into previous games.
Deus Ex Mankind Divided will be better than both games combine.
@beardmad: Wtf are you on? They're the same games on console as on PC, believe it or not.
Anyway, I've never played a DS game, but I'd be extremely surprised if it's better then Witcher.
These games are not really comparable at all. This sounds like a comparison a child would make.
But if you really need an answer, I like The Witcher's world, lore and story more. But so far Dark Souls 3 has better combat than The Witcher 3 or Souls games/Bloodbourne.
Witcher 3 by far. More interesting world and lore.
Agreed. As I play DS1 on X1, having played Demons and Bloodborne I just cant seem to get all excited for DS2 or 3. I want to believe I'll play at least 3 down the line but I'm feeling like screw this. Its just the same shit. The way people tell me about Halo. I guess different strokes you know? This Souls formula is some tired ass shit now.

He never said they're different games on PC and on console. He said he likes them both about the same and that they're both best on PC.
loving Dark Souls 3 but I doubt it will leave as much of an impact as Witcher 3. The story and character stuff in that game is just so well done it adds a lot of context to everything else even though its mechanically unremarkable
@-Unreal-: Not really... what was the whole exclusivity thing about then?
What do you mean by not really? I don't see what you're objecting to. Are you saying you disagree that the PC version of these games is superior or are you disagreeing that my paraphrasing of what the guy you replied to said was accurate?
Taking the above post "Yeah ok then... not getting into this sh** with PC gamers." I assume you're disagreeing that the PC version of these games is superior. But you want to avoid debating it. Is that because you don't actually believe the PC version isn't superior?
@-Unreal-: On a technical level, yes, of course a lot of PCs can run those games at higher res/fps than consoles. But the point I'm trying to make is, the way he worded his reply earlier came across as sort of saying that if one of those games was exclusive to console and locked at 30fps, then that game would automatically be tossed aside and the other game crowned the winner just because it can be played at a higher frame rate on PC.
My point is, does it really matter? It's still the same game at it's core. I find it extremely weird that you'd say you enjoyed a game more because of things like that. But hey, each to their own I guess.
@hrt_rulz01: it's not a pc thing, 60fps is objectively better and makes a big difference, especially in a gAme like dark souls were timing is key.
There are 60fps games on consoles too
60 FPS is important in difficult hack n slash games as Souls or Ninja Gaiden series. Lag can kill you very easily.
@hrt_rulz01: I guess if you have play 60fps all the time when you try to play a game locked at 30fps(sometimes hitting below that) it becomes unplayable.
I tried dark souls 1 on 360, it's unplayable the game nearly came to a standstill during the aslyuim demon fight.
I'm unlikely to get bloodbourne untill there is a 60fps fix, which may or may not happen, it could with the ps4.5.
Witcher 3
I'm saying this as someone who hasn't played Dark Souls 3. I'm sure it's a great game, but it's the fifth entry into a series of games that are all unique, but still very similar.
I'm really enjoying Dark Souls 3, but...it's more of the same. It's good fun, but it doesn't push any boundaries, and feels a little tired after so many annual sequels.
Meanwhile, The Witcher 3 was simply a masterpiece. There hasn't been a better RPG in the past decade.
So...the Witcher 3 gets an easy vote from me, even if I do think that Dark Souls 3 is a very good game.
TW3 is an awesome RPG and one of the few modern RPGs to actually put a lot of emphasis on a good, all round gaming experience and combat.
I recently bought Dark Souls 3, my first Souls game and honestly, I feel like I wasted my money. It looks like a ps2 era game, has terrible camera angles and animation and the combat is repetitive and slow at times. Having said that, the atmosphere is great and the sound design is ace. I've only played a few hours so I'm willing to give this a bit more time.
Dont know about DS3 but i guess is more of the same and since i never was able to get into DS1 or 2 then is Witcher 3 for me by a mile
I never played a Soul games but I did play Bloodborne and loved it. I also bought The Witchers 3 but can't stand it, I've played like 2h of it since I bought it, just can't stand the floatiness during the combat.
But Dark Souls 3 is just more of the same very high difficulty for the same of difficulty.
