When will Sony update the PS3 user interface. So bland and boring.

Seriously. Everytime I see it in a screenshot. It hurts my eyes from the blandness. Pry open your wallets Sony and make some changes already. I know you're broke but you gotta spend money to make money. This is my advice.

They should get rid of the installs and long,tiresome updates.

The boring aspects of the UI symbolizes how the public view Sony products. Expensive boring bland. They need to hire some software engineers from apple or google or even MS.

Easy to use and navigate. I don't need it to change every 6 months and have huge icons that features multiple page changes as if I am using a tablet.

It looks sick. Sony doesn't need to change it noob, you can change it. This isn't Microsoft, you don't have to pay.

i like the xmb. they beta'd it and ironed out the kinks with the psp and it shows.

I like that it doesn't change. Why does it need to be changed? Last time MS updated they gimped video playback.

Looks very nice to me and I love the alternative themes. I actually wish the XMB worked half as good as it looked.

The XMB is fine, its fast and simple. Plus there are tons of great themes to use.

360 use to have to best UI until they changed it 3 times...I wish they would bring back the Blades, or at least give you an option to use it again.

It's easy to navigate, so I'm good with it.

It's called use their internet browse google for themes and download and use one free.

open PS3 web browser type in www.ps3-themes.com download them and wala.

Heavily prefer it to the 360's current one. Bleh.

I love the Xross Media Bar, so easy and quick, with a feeling of snappiness that the 360 just doesn't have.

Pity they scrapped it for Vita.

I don't think anyone cares about the PSN UI. It serves the purpose and I've never encountered any great difficulties finding what I need to find. I don't suspect most gamers ask for much more. At least it doesn't look outright bad or anything.

I hope they never spend needless money and change the XMB, as it works perfect. I navigate seemlessly. Sony is spending money where gamers should care about, Games. The competition can freely spend money doing annual changes to their interface, making the last year's model obsolete, but that's just a waste of money....spend that money on games.

I love my dynamic themes fyi.

You're nitpicking. I think it was pretty obvious he was referring to XBL's UI, even if he didn't say so directly.

So it should have goofy/creepy looking bootleg Mii avatars and ads? No thanks keep that stuff for the little kids on XBL.
