What would Microsoft have to do to get you to buy an Xbox One?

These are my requirements when it comes to buying consoles.

1)Not Japanese.

2)Godly.

3)No weird Japanese kiddy diddler games.

4)Caters to the culturally superior western market.

5)No effeminate lady-boy linear "RPG" games.

6)Hated by the toddler fetish having social rejects on SW.

I guess you're right. I do think the current fee will become a bigger issue for them moving forward this time around though. The competition has improved dramatically. Maybe they'll do a permanent price drop or something.

Guarantee that the first-sale doctrine will be respected, remove mandatory installation to HDD, remove online checks, make basic online play free, and price it at no more than $300 WITHOUT any sort of contract requirement.

I'll buy it sometime after its launched, probably a month or so - consoles shouldn't be bought on launch day.

The Japanese have proven this gen that they are not capable of keeping up with the demands of the modern video games industry.

Look at the Wii U. 

That is the face of the Japanese market.

Even Sony is adopting the western centric philosophy for the PS4.

- No TV

- Much better price than PS4 (Because Xbox One lacks power compared to PS4)

- Make Xbox Live Free or at least way cheaper.

- Get rid of Used Game Fee

- Get rid of Online always for games and register crap on Xbox live.

Exclusives.

• Free Xbox Live, the very least free online play.
• Used games
• No online connection required
• Ditch kinect, not paying extra for gimmicks I'm not going to use
• Stop focusing on TV and features I don't care about and I won't even have access to cause I'm outside the US
• Stop focusing on timed exclusive multiplats and Halo/Gears/Forza
• More core games support, exclusives and new IP's.

Have a solid release lineup, and consistent exclusive releases. The 360 got a pass, because I played most of my multiplats on it.

1. Present a Kinect-free package with a hard drive no larger than 70GB.

2. Turn off the aspect that requires players to connect to the internet every 24 hours.

3. No codes with games.

4. No fees for used games.

5. Silver members get 10 hours of free play per month.

Release.

I do find this hilarious. The PS eye, which is a peripheral that bombed, is shipping with every PS4 (supposedly) :lol:

I will buy it only just for tv,bluray,kinect and exclusive but for gaming i'll stick to PC

Kidnap my kids.

Release an Xbox Portable and make it have remote play with Xbox One. And give monthly games away with XBL Gold.

Neither of these will ever happen.

I don't really care about the TV features they are promoting. So for me they would have to remove the used game fees, and actually release some good exclusives.

I'm still not sure I like the idea of the Kinect always being on though, so I still may pass on the XB1 if I can't disconnect the Kinect.

If it had a AAA star trek RPG, set in the normal universe around the TNG era as an exclusive. So yep Iam never going get an xbox one.

There is nothing MS could do.

For starters, cancel all that BS DRM SHlT. do that, and i'll look at the games and start to consider it. also, don't make me pay to play online games, something NO ONE else does.
