I'm going with Spore as well.

Call me a fanboy, but I still have faith that there will be a game in 2009 that completely nails Wii controls and makes everybody rethink how games should be played... or atleast there would be if I was a game director.

Throughout history there have been dozens of OMG games, like Super Mario Bros., Final Fantasy VII, Ocarina of Time, Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Doom, Resident Evil 4, Metroid Prime, SSBM, Halo, MGS4, TES: Oblivion, GeOW, etc. Well what's the next totally awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping game? What will proceed to amaze us 6 month, 1 year, or even a decade from now? You tell me.MGSFan92

Oblivion was a disappointment. Halo was a disappointment. Resident Evil 4 wasn't scary. Baldur's Gate was better than Final Fantasy VII. You ignored Halflife, System Shock 2, Homeworld, Deus Ex as well as other brilliant games.

Overall I'm looking forward to Dragons Age, I doubt it will get that great a hype behind it, I doubt it will be revolutionary, however, I do think it will be extremely enjoyable.

So Retro and Team ICO are now Nintendo games developers? Man how hard can it be to read the whole post consisting of only two lines?

I think Socom Confrontation will be one of those games that make people say "OMG it's actually really good". I know it doesn't look like much right now but I think Slant Six will pull it off in the end.
