What September games are you most looking forward to?

Well technically it’s Dragon Quest XI but I have to wait for the Switch version. Other then that it’s Tomb Raider with Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Torna the Golden Country in a close second.

DQ 11 for me. I'm just not big on spider man and no longer in rush to get TR game.

More excited for Dragon Quest XI but I do plan on getting Spiderman as well.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider. I plan on getting SNK Heroines and God Wars for Switch, though maybe not right away.

Oh, Spiderman is out in September. Though it was later 2018 :o

Will probably get Spiderman and DQ XI. There are way too many games for me to get. Still need to get FFXII HD, FFX on the PS4, and Dragonball Fighterz

Tomb raider for this guy. Although to be honest if I could afford all of those games I would get them. Only one I can get is Shadow of the Tomb Raider as I have it pre ordered.

Spiderman. It's funny because I was super skeptical when it was first announced. I thought the quality would like the last Spiderman games, shitty. Though the more I watch, the more I'm intrigued.

September 2018 games picking up for me will be:

1. Marvel's Spider-Man PS4 (already pre-order digital)
2. Shadow of the Tomb Raider
3. Dragon Quest XI

(Undecided if I want to buy Valkyria Chronicles 4 or just wait for a sell)

Spiderman is a day 1. Couldn't care less about the rest of those.

I'm trying to get my hands on that Fifa 2019. Money is tight right now, but I'm saving up because I know it's going to be killer. From the demo videos I've seen of it, and the way Fifa '18 kicked butt, I know this year's is going to kick butt.

Out of that list only Spiderman. I don't know I've ever seen a month in which I only want 1. But I also want Two Point Hospital on August 30th!

Normally I would buy Tomb Raider but I don't like the platforming, stealth and combat in the reboot all that much. Then it's all about the raiding for me, in those games. Maybe I'll buy it if the reviews state it's chock-full of raiding or if it has a good economy.

DQ11 is too much for me right now. I am still playing Octopath Traveler. Somehow this happens every time a DQ game comes out. I have never played a DQ game. Except for Builders.

No question, Shadow of the Tomb Raider. The first two reboot games were the first Tomb Raider games I've ever played to completion, out of the total of five that I've ever bought.

But again, I probably won't buy it at launch.

Dragon Quest in the only game on the list that I can hardly wait for. I've been waiting a long time for that one, and it's a game my wife actually wants to play and is excited for, so that's awesome. :)

The rest... meh.

SNK, NBA, and Insurgency (waiting for console though... so yeah....) are others as well.

Definitely the Walking Dead finale and Life is Strange, these are my go to games when i eat instead of watching some movie or series. :D

1. You really should have made this a multi-choice poll. Just too many impressive looking games coming out to expect everyone would only be looking forward to just one.

2. Really glad to see so many people are excited for Dragon Quest XI, I hope my HYPE THREAD Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age helped to get people amp for it's release.

I'm really excited to play the first true AAA Spiderman game and Dragon Quest XI.

I wish I could get more but it's just too many barn busting games both this and next month to get them all sadly. Dragon Quest XI is a 60hr to 120hr game by itself. I really want SNK Heroines but I'm going to have to wait a bit before I pick that one up.

Also Xenoblade Chronicles 2: Torna the Golden Country is releasing for the Switch this month! This expansion looks as good as any AAA release I've seen as well, someone should get on that Hype thread for Switch owners too.

Another note:

It's quite surprising to see so many people getting the next Tomb Raider.

I thought people hated the heavily scripted, cinematic, set piece propelled, movie game formula that the Uncharted series suggested to employ. Tomb Raier uses the exact same formula but looking at the poll, seems like those arguments aimed at UC didn't paint a true picture.

Neither of the last 2 games from those franchises really did anything for me and I for one am tired of this formula that both Uncharted and Tomb Raider use...

I'm glad ND took a break from Uncharted to focus on the more gameplay driven and a far superior franchise IMO. Anyway Tomb Raider fans enjoy your game.

Tomb Raider and Life Is Strange, taking it easy on buying too much, been using last few months working off my backlist. Spider-Man will have to wait at least until I get my hands on God of War.

Looking forward to play some spidey man action again. Hahaha!

Spider-Man and Valkyria Chronicles 4 (PS4). Don't know when I'll get them though.

I don't know that I'd get Spider-man even with a PS4, unless it was at a discount. The combat looks okay, but the stealth seems simplistic, so I'm not sure how fun the game would actually be in the long term. Does look fun for a bit at least.

I got Tomb Raider for 45 bucks from GMG, so I am anticipating that, especially once I get my 2080 Ti. Also already pre-ordered Insurgency: Sandstorm for 23.99, and the beta was quite good.

Spidey looks dope. I need to finish my PS2 ones first tho :o

There's 5 on there that I will get, but not all at once, and some not until next year.

Valkyria Chronicles 4 for sure, have already completed the awesome demo.

Didn't buy it yet. I'm not sure I'll get one on release, but I'll be getting one soon. They mostly go for around $1200

Likely none of the above but maybe, just maybe, Tomb Raider because I loved the last two and if I can't resist waiting until price drops I just may pull the trigger early. :P
