What October game(s) are you most looking forward to?

October is looking just OK to me. I will probably be getting Modern Warfare at launch. I'm interested in Luigi's Mansion, but that could probably wait until Black Friday sales. I'm also interested to see how MediEvil does (it will probably be in tomorrow's State of Play). I'm also curious about The Outer Worlds. Never really got into Obsidian games even though I have Fallout New Vegas. So what about you, SW? What October game(s) are you most looking forward to?

Gonna be playing Breakpoint on Uplay+ with my brother, so i'm grabbing a month for $20. As for the rest, it's probably:

1. Grandia HD
2. Little Town Hero
3. Outer Worlds (Game Pass)

I'm buying Destiny 2, and keeping an eye on reviews for The Outer Worlds. Probably wait for Steam release, but the door isn't completely shut.

Other than that, nothing else for me.

I too will probably get Modern Warfare. I liked the maps in the beta and the cross platforming ability is pretty sweet.

Month looks pretty weak. Luigi's Mansion and Grandia I'll probably grab. Maybe Outer Worlds if its not a buggy mess.

That COD Beta got me pretty excited. But other than COD MW, nothing else is really moving the needle. My wife and kids will dig Luigi’s Mansion 3.

Alliance Alive seems good and made by the guy who made Suikoden but eh, probably will skip till next year

I probably won't buy anything at launch, but definitely will be picking:

I might eventually get Luigi's Mansion 3 but not any time soon. My next game is Shenmue 3.

Luigi's Mansion 3 is top priority, but probably for next month. After playing Soulcalibur VI... maybe Witcher III Switch on a sale? Could not get into Witcher 2 to save my life as it felt like it did not know what it wants to be.

Forgot Outer Worlds on BONE was out this month, though I'm also curious as to how the Switch version will fare.

What I'm planning on buying this month is Dragon Quest XI Switch and River City Girls (hopefully Limited Run has enough copies).

I'm skipping October's pick ups cause I need to start doing alot of Christmas shopping. I do my holidays shopping every October and so with that, I'll be focusing on clearing out a few backlog and still need to complete Control & my 5th play Witcher 3 anyways. All of that said, November is the real prize for me when both Death Stranding & Pokemon Sword/Shield release November 2019.

Edit: To be honest, I almost forgot The Outer Worlds releases late October and I extend my Game Pass Till November, so it looks like I'll be playing Outer Worlds on W10+Game Pass without paying full price. Thank you MS for allowing Outer Worlds to be on W10 over Epic.

Gonna get me a gaming PC and then get Outer Worlds for Win10 using game passand then Monkey King and Concrete Genie for PS4

I'll buy Luigi's Mansion 3, and I've already bought the Yakuza 3-5 bundle. Less sure about the others.

I'm tempted by the Switch port of The Witcher 3, just for the hell of having a portable copy of the game.

The Alliance Alive is also tempting, but I don't love the game enough to double-down on my 3DS copy.

As for The Outer Worlds...I'd pick up a PC version if it was out on Steam. Since it isn't, I might wait and see how the Switch port goes.

As for October; most likely Outer Worlds and Modern Warfare. To be honest those might be my last games I'll scoop up to end the year cause I'm skipping everything else. I am still waiting on Warcraft III Reforged but still nothing yet so hopefully by Blizzcon; they'll drop a release date cause that's probably been my most anticipated title since announcement.

@dagubot: Witcher 3 this gen took me by surprise, it became my all time favorite game, I really enjoy enough to replay it many times with few mods to try out.

Probably nothing, but at some point I'll probable get Grandia HD and I do have my eye on outer worlds

I was gonna save my cash for the holiday shopping coming up. Then I played that COD beta. Surprised the hell out of me.

Luigi's Mansion for Switch for sure, might be interested in Ghostbusters remaster depending on how much improved iy is, otherwise I might be fine with the XB1 BC version I have.

I already have the $100 version of CoD pre-ordered. I loved the alpha and both betas (although I really hate the skill based match making since it was putting me in foreign servers against people using cheat devices... ugh.. so hopefully they can iron that out a bit). Best CoD in the franchise in my opinion, and I have been very hard on the franchise in the past. Cancelled my last 3 pre-orders after playing the betas for them, but this game in on point.

Already cancelled my Ghost Recon Breakpoint pre-order.. the beta was absolute trash.

Already have Plants vs Zombies because of the early access program thing... game is ok.. not that great. The campaign is much better than the multiplayer in my opinion.

The Grid reboot is on my radar... it's looking really good. Almost looks like an earlier Gran Turismo game, which isn't a bad thing at all. On the fence with this one though.. may or may not pick it up. If I do it will be day one, if I don't I probably won't get it at all. I'm weird like that.. lol

I will likely pick up a Trails of Cold Steel III special edition.

I'm going back and forth on the Outer Worlds as well. However, I will likely get it at some point. Not sure if on or near launch or not though.

Super Monkey Ball is just about guaranteed.

Frostpunk is another game I have interest in and have watched it from time to time. I might just have to pick it up as well.

I might talk some smack about Ubisoft's business tactics, but honestly the past two years they've been one of the few AAA developers I actually appreciate....mostly. I will probably give Breakpoint a try just because Wildlands was pretty fun and I got a good 40+ hours out of it.

Outer Worlds for sure, though I expect it will be a buggy mess like most Obsidian games.

I didn't realize Outer Worlds is coming out the same day/month as Call of Duty. That kind of sucks for them. Then again maybe they're going for the niche crowd.

Probably to celebrate the franchise 30th year anniversary.

@SolidGame_basic: Why not, its the third movie fans always wanted and the only good Ghostbusters game since the one on the Genesis. I'm excited, can't wait to play it again.

The Outer Worlds and maybe Grid seem interesting. But then again it's an Obsidian game so maybe wait like a year for the complete edition and all its patches, since it will probably be substantially broken at release.

The Outer Worlds is truly the only one. If I end up getting bored by the 4th, I may grab Ghost Recon, but only if I can get it at like 45 dollars. Don't want to pay 60 for it.

Disgaea 4 Complete and Overwatch on the Switch are the big guns of October.

I got enough awesome games already on PS4. Using October to slay some of my backlog. I figure I can destroy 4-5 games that month.
