I guess that is sort of true? But, I mean, that is true of all console lines, including PlayStation and even Nintendo.

The One... better features, and likely the same types of games in the end.

I got a tv tuner for it ... use it instead of my smart tv at this point.

It will have windows 10 soon aswell. alread enjoying the connectivity with my PC/phone/tablet.

The original beast, then 360, then wiiu, then wii, then Red Steel, the big rigs and then Xbone.

None, xbox has no identity beyond Halo, Forza and Gears of War. It's a sad attempt of a Playstation/Sega/Nintendo hybrid that lacks any personality, they bought Rare from Nintendo only to have the studio name without any of the former talent and they've been chasing the third party support of the playstation for a long time. Beyond a proper online service we'd be better off with no xbox and a thriving Sega.

I have never owned one of those and i doubt i ever will. Microsoft has some of the worst consumer hating ideas i have ever seen and this generation they paid the price for their antics... always online? No used games? They really deserve bitter last place and rejection from third parties than Nintendo does, i want Xbox face down in the mood.

If i have give my true answer , that would be both the og Xbox and 360 , but i like the og more because back then for me , the console stood out more from the rest.

I will always love the OG Xbox. When my buddy prodded me to get it after my second DRE in early 2003 I was amazed when I fired up games and started playing on it.

But I voted 360. The X1 is looking to get better and better in terms of games and my family and I use the entertainment hub aspect of it daily, but 360 had such a massive library of great games and countless fun online for me.

Original xbox. It had the most original games and some truly memorable experiences. The other consoles had nothing great to be remembered for IMO. 360 was a multiplat box with no identity and the one is the weakest of the game offerings even amoung xboxes. I still liked xbox originals like Amped, NFL Fever, Blinks the Time Sweaper, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Itogi, Phantom Dust, Sudeki, Brute Force, PGR, Mech Assault, Tao Feng and others; they may have not been the highest rated of games but they did set xbox aprart from PS2 and gave it it's own identity and made it worth owning.

360 is the only good one so that.

Using smartglass dude? I love messing with my uncle or my mom when she stays over by using my smartglass app as a remote while they use the X1 remote. The confusion it causes is priceless LOL

I have the most memories with the original one despite not owning one. 360 is the best though, and the One is good, but needs a few more years to grow.

The 360 is one of the best consoles of all time so this thread is pretty friggin easy to answer. Followed by the OG then the x1. But the x1 is going to have a longer life so itll likely change.

My first Xbox console, and it's up there with the Ps2. It's absolutely brilliant.

Heh yea was winding the girlfriend up with it. but I mainly use it to stream to my second monitor, or act as a remote (pc is in the living room anyway). the xbox one app on W10 is pretty good.

The PS2 was good for the games and the Wii because i use it as a Gamecube.

There's a decent argument to make for the OG, but 360 brought MS' vision together in all the right (and some of the wrong) ways.

X1 is still too young to pass judgment but its first two years have been less impressive than its predecessors.

In terms of which console is the better system overall, with the most features etc, it's hard to go past Xbone. But taking into account the period in which they were released and what they offered (and yes, maybe a little nostalgia on my part), I say the original Xbox. Very underrated console.

XB1. The games aren't here yet, but they're coming. Being able to use one device for everything was great.

Absolutely! And this is one spot in which the PS3 cannot compete with the Xbox 360, simply because of the monumental impact the 360 had that the PS3, well, didn't.

Xbox 360 it had a great online infrastructure that could only be beat by PC and was a beast in terms of games in it's early years (pre-kinect). Not too mention it has the best controller out there. I never owned a One so I can't speak for that console in terms of how it is and it's controller but it seems to be getting tons of momentum in terms of games so I wouldn't be surprised that it will overshadow the 360 in the near future.

Presuming you mean arguing the OG is the best Xbox, I primarily point to being able to fairly simply mod the hell out of the thing and its superior console experience. It unequivocally offered the best multiplatform games and dominated online gaming for consoles. It also was the only console to offer a HDD, something easily forgotten. Once the controller issues were straightened out, Xbox was undoubtedly the best machine on the market, it simply lacked the same level of support from publishers. That's what you get when you burn billions to make your mark. For its time, Xbox was the best product you could get for your living room - it simply lacked a bevy of games for itself. That's something the 360 will always have over it.

The original - It had a distinct library, was the most powerful console, and had the clear cut best multiplayer. Games like Halo CE, Halo 2, Ninja Gaiden Black, GunValkyrie, Panzer Dragoon Orta, Metal Wolf Chaos, Shenmue II, DOA Ultimate, Fable, Crimson Skies, KOTOR, Otogi, Jade Empire, Spikeout: Battle Street, NFL 2K5, Mech Assault, Outrun 2, Jet Set Radio Future, PGR2, Blood Wake, and so on, make the Xbox my favorite gen 6 console.

I'm actually listening to Orta's soundtrack right now, because it's so good.

The 360 is my favorite gen 7 console, but other than Halo, Gears, and the occasional shmup, its library doesn't standout like the first Xbox did from its competition.

Anyway, I'm going to vote for the only Xbox console I've ever owned: the 360. It was actually a pretty decent machine.

The exclusives were shit and Microsoft didn't really support it as long as Sony did with the PS3 -- the fact that Persona freaking 5 is still coming to the PS3 tells me all I need to know in that regard -- but the console performed very well, until it gave me the famous RROD. Twice.

Still use the controller on my PC.

I voted the original cause its really only one i played much. I got to play the Xbox One for a bit on vacation, but i didnt fool around with it much, just played some GTA 5. I was gonna try some other games, but i didnt want to wait for them to update and stuff.

To be fair, Sony officially dropped support for the PS3 in 2013. Persona 5 is a third party game.

Easily the original, it was in its time the most powerful console all the way up until the Xbox 360 and the modding capabilities for it were incredible.

OG. I had far more fun with that Xbox console than X360, and I have yet to give Xbox One a spin.

Have no experience of the One as of yet, really liked X360 though. Is the One still as slow as when it was released (talkin' bout UI and that sort of stuff)?.

Oxbox was the only good Xbox console ever.

X360 until 2008. MGS4 success was a turning point for $ony and i think M$ dropped support for the 360 after that.
