What game(s) have you taken a break from, but want to get back to?

I started playing Ace Attorney Chronicles and enjoyed the first two chapters! I think the story, writing, and characters are fun, and the animation and graphics are pretty good too. It can be tough to get through visual novels at times, but I definitely want to get back to it.

What about you, SW? What game(s) have you taken a break from, but want to get back to?

Halo Infinite. A little burned out at the moment.
Siege. I'm super burnt out on this game, killer tho
Rocket League. My RL buddy n I don't have as much free time at the same time to play
Valorant. Need the full crew for peak fun
DBFZ. Just don't want to deal with that netcode
Tekken 7. Same as above

Mostly multplayer. Single player stuff once I start the game, I'm gonna finish it unless the game is so shit I aint wasting my time ala No More Heroes 2.

FF X & XII. I would like to, but they can be time consuming, especially XII. I left off right when you get the meet the guy and the bunnygirl (forget their name).

Most of my JRPGs on the 3DS like Fire Emblem Awakening and Super Robot Taisen I would like to get back to, but I just haven't felt like going back to my 3DS in awhile. As well, I l feel like I am lost and always under pressure to keep my team alive and leveled even though I am playing where I won't lose them permanently. Super Robot Taisen is because, once again, time consuming.

FighterZ, but whenever I pop it in, I just don't feel like playing the story, which is what I am working on.

Digimon Story Cybersleuth is another one. Majorly it is because I love it so much that I don't want it to end, so I am procrastinating.

There are other, but these came to mind.

Quite a few although for some it’s not really that I “took a break” from them but I simply got sidetracked from them playing other games. A few off the top of my head head are:

- Guardians of the Galaxy

- Halo: Infinite (played through the Battle Pass and just waiting for the next season and some more maps)

- Gears 5 (would like to get back into some multiplayer before the next game comes out)

- Forza Horizon 5 (played through a ton and have some more I’d like to do in it)

- Fire Emblem Three Houses

FFXV, maybe Elite Dangerous, and OW (with 2 beta out soon)

Nothing. When i leave, its usually because i don't really want to come back. GoW2018 is the only game i could think of that i came back 3 damn years later and finished off my 100% playthrough on gmgow.

Baldurs gate 3 beta, so damn good!

I also liked goldeneye 007’s multiplayer, and before someone says perfect dark multiplayer, I know that it’s better, just not into it or interested.

Got burnt out from SF but will be playing 6 at launch.

Not gonna be like Conan playing gazillion hours, be fairly casual, real life shit priority, but get a good couple of years playtime out of it hopefully assuming it's not a huge fuckup.

Hollow Knight. Got about 20 hours done.

It's not a game but I would like to get back into VR hopefully someday when there is a headset that feels like a worthy purchase.

Dying Light 2 - been having some headache issues lately and this game exacerbated them. will return to it when things improve

Fire Emblem Three Houses. I know I will love this game but quit after my first few hours as I had something else I wanted to play and never went back.

Persona 5. Love this game but I wanted to platinum and ended up making a mistake that would stop me. So I didn't finish it. I picked up Royal a few months ago and really should give it an honest go.

I intend to get back to playing Horizon: Zero Dawn. I'm going to have to start over because I forgot everything about the story and the controls. I wanna finish it before I dive into Forbidden West. Probably will get back into THPS 1 + 2 as well.

Battlefield 2042 is the main one.

Battlefield 2042 is a disastrous mess. Will play it when a large chunk of a patch is issued for it.

Street Fighter 5.

My list of unfinished games is way longer than completed ones. Recently got a few hours into Control, but then was sidetracked playing old SNK games in the buildup to King of Fighters XV. Haven't bought KoF, and won't until it's on sale, but I was caught up in the hype. Plan to get back to Control soon.

Also on my list to get back too: SW Battlefront 2 and Squadrons, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, Devil May Cry 3, Mario Galaxy 2, Need for Speed Nitro, Killer Instinct, Divinity Original Sin 2...

Started the first Ori and then got bored and played other games. Then I got Ori 2, and did the exact same thing. Not sure I will, but I probably should go back and finish Ori 2 at least.

They're pretty, but.. a bit meh. Can't really put my finger on why. I love metroidvanias, and like cute stuff. But the Ori games just don't click for me. I don't enjoy the combat very much, and the platforming felt derivative for some reason. Reminded me of DKC:TF and made me want to play that instead.

Dark Souls 3 - 150 hours in. beat it three times. Not finished yet but had to force my self to stop to play DS1-2. When I'm done with Elden Ring I might go for 4th, 5th, 6th run...

Dark Souls 1 & 2 - 50 hours into each. beat them both once each. Not quite done with them, as I want NG+/NG+2 runs here as well but not enough time before Elden Ring came out.

Bloodborne - Technically only 8 hours in, but I refuse to play until PS5/PC port/remasters come out.

Dark souls 3. Been like 2 years now

Use to play flight sims abit, DCS.

Jumped back into VTOL which is lighter and friendly to get into with proper VR integration. Pretty cool game thus far. Kinda shit can easily spend months on.

Decent price, no bullshit amounting to £100's

RDR2 but when I think about firing it up I think crap, I don't recall where I was and what to do next along with all controller functions being less than fresh in my memory so I just play something else.

Maybe you should wear a cowboy hat when playing?

I'll have you know the only time a real cowboy like myself is not wearing a cowboy hat is in the shower. lol :P
