I am going with Ori and the Blind Forest. I can't remember the last time a game had such an emotional impact on me. This will be the first game I put on the new OLED when I get it.

What about you?

I'm going to go with Celeste here. It's a pitch perfect platformer with a powerful emotional core. The music helped to bring the whole experience home. Madeline's journey is incredibly relateable

I neeeeed to play Ori though. It looks fantastic.

I think its time to up the quality of drama you watch if you consider that high emotional art.

I would suggest watching Sun Dogs for starters

@Pikminmaniac: Celeste would be my pick as well. It kept lingering in my head even after finishing it.

Nier Automata; Especially the soundtrack I've heard it was really good, but it surpassed all my expectations.

Prey. It reminded me of why games exist. The strong focus on play and attention to detail in its game design is simply great.

SOMA did it for me.

Near the end of the game the theme was really thought provoking, made me really think about who I was and what I was doing.

+1 for Prey too: a really good, fun and creative game.

Doom was very good but GOW was a very inspiring game. I'm sure it fired up ms to acquire some studios as well as make a studio from scratch to start competing.

Inspired? Wrong word I think.

Either way, my favorite game of the gen so far is Uncharted 4. They did a great job tying up the story.

Yeah I don't know what inspired then proceeds to "emotional impact" and "lingers".

No game inspired me to do anything like perform better in my hobbies, work harder or smarter, no game at all.

"Emtional impact and lingers".. Bloodborne and lore. AAA Cthulu game basically.

Inspired? Xbox fanfest 100% of ticket proceeds going to sick children in hospitals to enable them to play games is inspiring. Making a controller that is adaptable to the users particular disability is inspiring.

Cant think of any game that inspired me.

Indie gaming in general.

AAA games are amazing and better looking than ever, but this new indie boom is the reason why this is probably my favourite generation. So many gems, it's insane!

Probably The Last Guardian. This game is gold. Runs like crap at times and the boy can be frustrating to control, but this game makes me really care. I'd argue it's the best game they've made, actually.

Yeah, Ori would definitely be up there for me.

Others that come to mind are Hellblade & Valiant Hearts.

Ori will surely look nice on an Oled but it is not X-Enhanced though, and no indication it will ever be either(I don't know on PC if it has 4K either).....but the sequel Will of the Wisps will be getting the 4K patch though and should look even more phenomenal. With Battletoads confirmed to be 4K - HDR and 2.5D, I'm really looking forward to that one as well....as long as it plays good, it will be amazing.

Inspiring for me.....I don't know, yeah maybe Ori too, huge fan of handrawn stuff and that is a tough one to beat this gen.

I would say the new God of War. The cinematic style, watching Kratos become more fatherly and care about his son. It had a huge impact on me and was super inspirational.
