What February game(s) are you most looking forward to?

This is a big month if you're into Japanese games. I'm personally looking forward to Persona 5 Strikers and Nioh 2 Remastered. I bought Nioh 2 last year but when I saw that it was getting a PS5 update I had to wait 😮 Other games I want to see how they do are Ys 9, Super Mario 3D World, Ghost n Goblins Resurrection, and Bravely Default 2! What about you, SW? What February game(s) are you most looking forward to?

My wallet is suffering at the moment after buying a LGCX OLED last weekend so won't be buying anything new for a while.

Just Little Nightmares 2.

Little Nightmares 2 looks like something I’d enjoy. Rest of the list, not so sure about.

I've had my TV for about 15 years so needed replacing. It's magnificent. Should have saved up enough for a PS5 by the time they are back in stock hopefully.

Until them I'm making do with my X1X. RDR2 is jaw dropping as is FH4. Although Tetris Effect is probably my favourite use of HDR, it just pops so well.

I can imagine! HDR seems so sweet! Maybe it’s better this way as you get two generational leaps instead of one.

Only thing that intrigues me is Persona 5 Strikers. Otherwise, probably backlog month.

That said, I learned recently that Subnautica: Below Zero is coming out of Early Access soon. If that happens in February, I'm insta-buying it.

Never took you for a Persona fan. Did you play Persona 5 or P4G?

Nothing for me in February of 2021, but I am looking forward to March 2021 just for Mass Effect Legendary Edition (PC version) is all I'm interested as far as making it my first 2021 game purchase despite I already own ME trilogy on Origin.

@R4gn4r0k is part of the CX club as well. He recommended it to me. He has the 48 inch. I have the 55. How about you?

But what game will you get for your PS5?

I went for the 55 as it seemed the best bang for your buck (or pound in my case). Went from a 42" so it a decent size upgrade.

Was a bit worried about burn in. But seem that for the most part unless you spend 10 hours a day watching CNN your going to be OK.

SM3D World + Bowser's Fury and maybe the Nioh collection on PS5 since I never got either game.

The Werewolf game looks to have potential but it's going to wait for a price drop.

Destruction Allstars looks to be... mediocre... but I'll give it a shot as it'll be free.

Wait, is Void Terrarium Plus different from the original release? Or is it just a repackage for PS5? Love the game by the way. Do try it out, the original is on PS4 and its a roguelike. Hard to learn but really addicting once you get into the groove.

I will get Persona obviously.

@gym_lion: Lol, yea for gaming it should not be a problem. I got the 55 too, and my gaming room is small. I'm only like 5 or 6 feet away lol. I find that size perfect! Sound is really good too.

Bought Nioh 2 for ten bucks but haven't started it. Happy I didn't!

I'll keep an eye on bravely.... but I'll be surprised if I buy it.

OLED is such an amazing tech for gaming. I think you're going to really love the responsiveness, contrast and features of the TV.

For example it has HDMI 2.1, which a lot of TVs don't have, and seeing as how all the next gen consoles and hardware support it, it's just great to have!

Burn in was my number 1 fear too, but it doesn't seem to be problematic as long as you switch content.

So unless you are playing the same game, day in day out, for a year, you won't normally notice it.

Games that interest me that are coming out in February are:

- Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury

- Bravely Default 2

- Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection

- Persona 5 Strikers

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury and Bravely Default 2 are most likely day one purchases. Ghosts ‘n Goblins Resurrection and Persona 5 Strikers might be purchases a little later on.

I actually never played SMW 3D so I will likely get that.

Also Ghosts n Goblins and Bravely Default 2 will get spins.

Wrath actually got delayed to May, I was very much looking forward to it.

@davillain-: miles morales blows me away graphically everytime I turn it on. Not to mention the crazy loading speeds.

Its a good thing I didn't bother getting it on PS4, saw the comparison and I can see the difference.

A big open world fight in darkness with a huge bowser nintendo listened to fans.

I did not even know Nioh was getting remastered for PS5 I installed the PS4 version on my PS5. I'm definitely going to wait.

@R4gn4r0k: Burn in can also be fixed by putting it on a channel with static and leaving it there for a whilem

@robbie23: Whenever I go away from the TV i put it on an HDMI input that's currently off. Say my PS4 pro that's not turned on.

Then the TV starts displaying these paintings it keeps showing as a slideshow.

I'm so pumped for P5S!!
