What do you think of the Final Fantasy XIII-2 Battle Theme?

I did not like it as much as the FFXIII battle theme when I first heard a couple seconds of it in gameplay but once I heard the whole thing I now like it better than the FFXIII battle theme. Probably just because Ive heard so much of it though...

I much prefer FFXIII's battle music. It's not bad though.

Sounds hardcore, I'd say I prefer XIII's better, but this new one isn't too shabby either.

Hmm mixed feelings. Certain parts are rather bad but the violin parts are great.

I'd probably say that the original's is better but then again, I've only listened to this battle theme once while I've heard lots of the original while also experiencing beautiful visuals meanwhile so I am pretty biased I guess.

FFXIII's battle music got a bit too repetative for my liking. I like this one better, it's got a bit more variety to it.

Well it's definitely not better than XIII's. But then again, XIII's was the greatest battle theme ever composed :lol:

Still not a bad song. I could see myself getting engrossed in the battles with this.

I really quite like it. But better? Hard to say.

I like the mixture of hard and soft. Sounds very nice.

I like it! I am really hyped for 13-2. Over winter break I'll have the chance to start up 13, and hopefully finish it.

Not as good as Blinded by Light, but sounds great.

I prefer XIII's battle theme.

VII had an amazing OST, I'll agree. The Main Theme is one of the best tracks from the series, IMO. My second favorite main theme from the series entire. ;)

meh, it's not that great. as much as I didn't like XIII, the soundtrack was fantastic

It's okay. It kind of sounds the same throughout the entire song though.

I like it a lot, but XIII's is one of my favorite battle themes ever, so not quite as good for me.

I like but it's pretty hard to top FF XIII's which is amazing and the main reason why I bought that OST.

Mmm sounds more like boss music, is this the regular battle music? It's not as good as XIII's battle music (that was really amazing, loved hearing the music in every single battle) but it is pretty good.

I will say it sounds pretty epic around 2 min or whatever when that guitar solo kicks in but like I said, it sounds much more like boss music than random enemy encounters.

It's pretty good, and I love the violin parts. But I find XIII's battle theme much better.
