I'm admittedly not enjoying this one, and I've enjoyed each Far Cry game in the past. But, I must disclose, I'm sick lately, and it's effecting my concentration and energy and probably having some effect on my enjoyment. So, it could just be me... or not.
But, some nitpicks I can't help but point out, I often find when I go over to a body to loot it of the few bucks they offer that the game annoyingly makes it really easy to pick up enemy weapons instead by mistake, and like half the time instead of looting I'm picking up their weapons by accident.
I don't like this perk system, and things like additional weapons holsters and new types of weapons require in game money and/or higher level to get and I feel they lock too much out too early.
Some other things seem real cheap too, like skinning animals had a really cool animations in say Far Cry 3, but the way animals are skinned here is so awful it's something you'd expect from some cheap $5 Steam indie game.
One other thing that bugs me I'm calling it that Otis bullshit, like in Dead Rising, there's interactions with random NPCs that give you areas to explore or side quests, while you're trying to get them you have to listen to the entire thing, if you walk too far away it stops without giving you the objective, or if something like a turkey comes and scares the NPC it interrupts it. I wish simply starting the conversation would be enough, you'd think, someone didn't think this through.
