What you'll really need at minimum is an IntelCore 2 Quad Q8400 2.66Hz processor, or an AMDPhenom II X4 940 3.0 GHz. That's with 6GB of RAM, a 1024 VRAM Direct X11-capable graphics card, a Direct X9 sound card, and 25GB of disk space. There's no info yet on recommended specs, but we're sure Ubisoft will make that available closer to the game's release date of May 27.

Eh not bad, although the 6GB RAM thing seems dumb. Hopefully they don't pull a COD Ghosts

Do you think they downgraded the graphics because the game is releasing on the PS3/360 as well? We should be moving past the last gen consoles.

Well, the PC is supposed to be the lead platform for this game. Having downgraded last gen versions doesn't really change anything. I'm looking at the sort of tech in this game and I think the minimum requirements are very reasonable.

For minimum specs everything is okay besides the RAM requirement. That's just silly. What, they'll ask for 16 gigs in the recommended specification?

And when the game looks and runs like shit in the end, following the community-made RAM fix, like in the case of CoD Ghosts, the common Ubisoft answer will be: "BUT BUH IT'S TEH NEXT-GEN".

I'll never trust anything Ubisoft says. This game is going to run like turd, even on high end machines.

Some artificial limitation like only developing for two or three threads on the CPU will hold this back.

Woah, 6GB of RAM minimum on PC. That's pretty crazy. I don't think I've ever seen a game with a minimum spec of 6GB RAM for PC, much less a game that's also on last-gen consoles.

Technical marvel CoD: Ghosts required 6GB as well.

It looks like my PC (which I haven't updated since 2011) should be more than good enough. I have 16 GB RAM and 1 GB VRAM, so the RAM isn't an issue for me.
