Was Bioshock 2 the most misjudged game of the last generation?

Bioshock 2 was ok. Nothing great, but better than Bioshock Infinite.

I voted no. It got good review scores and mainly got criticised for being more of the same which let's face it, is exactly what it was.

I liked 2 but preferred the first one and Infinite.

Bioshock 2 was a big improvement over the first game and overall my favourite of the series.

It also had the best DLC because, let's be honest, Burial at sea wasn't very good.

The Bioshock games overall is overrated but I enjoyed 2 more than any of them.

Probably bc it wasn't hyped and raved about and then disappointing.

Not the most misjudged game (that would probably be Neir, or Drakenguard 3) but definitely better than people initially thought. Game-play was more refined, but the setting wasn't as novel to people the second time around, and the lack of a "Curse your surprising, but inevitable betrayal" moment led many to think the story wasn't as good. Something I completely disagree with.

I really liked how Sofia Lamb complements Andrew Ryan as a villain, with her hyper-collectivism and his hyper-individualism both leading to similarly messed up societies demonstrating how hyper-nationalism is the real danger in the end. Each game makes the other more compelling, as they enhance each other's socio-political commentary.

Its the only one I havent played yet... I need to get working on that, but my save on 1 got deleted twice, so I still need to beat that too...

Bioshock in general was overrated. Was always just a shittier, dumbed-down version of System Shock 2. Crap story, too. I can imagine it being fun for kids (like Minecraft), but that's about it.

It was an excellent game. Pretty much on par with the original.

You never played it. If you thought the first one was so awful you wouldn't have gone anywhere near the second one. Another complete (lying) clown exposed.

That Big Sister is posed quite erotically.

It was no more than an expansion pack peddled as a full game,just more of the same, it was good but not as good as the first.

Tbh when I was playing through Bioshock 2 I kept thinking it was more like an expansion than a new game. I did enjoy it though, unlike Bioshock Infinite.

It's definitely an underrated game... but I still prefer the original. But I totally understand the people who like 2 better....

It was a letdown after the greatness that was the original Bioshock. It was not a bad game for the most part, just no where near as good as Bioshock. Minerva's Den was great though. Even better than BS2 itself if you ask me.

I'd say it's Splinter Cell: Blacklist.
