Unreal Tournament 3. PS3 ***vs*** PC

Well remeber, they have been building the Unreal 3.0 engine on the PS3 since E3 05. Having said that I believe that UT3 will look best on the PC just becuase the PC has much more to work with.

Epic said themselves the the PS3 version will suprise people in how good it really looks, so I am expecting to see the PS3 version nearly identical to the PC version on high to max settings. Where the PC version has the PS3 version beat is in its resolution and possible DX10 features. Also the PC version will allow for more detailed lighting, much more detailed textures, and higher polygon models, but we shouldn't really notice the difference there.

The PS3 version is going to look fantastic, maybe the best looking PS3 game to date when it comes out. The PC version will always be superior just because it has many more resources to work with.

Umm you can't play Unreal Tounry on anything but the PC until UT3 comes out.

I supposed UT04 is non-existent. And all of the other UT games.

they look pretty much the same to me. the PS3 shot has more stuff going on and a better lighting angle, but thats about it from what I can tell.

If you look at the guys suit you will notice that they are different which probably means that one picture is older than the other.

God this game is going to be so freaking sweet. Halo 3 looks like a complete pile of steaming dog turd compared to UT3 and Bioshock, the two best FPS's for consoles AND PC this year imo. Halo 3 aint got nothin on those two godly games.

PS3 owners can't make mods.

Actually the PS3 version supports mod making and cross-platform play with the PC owners. =PLuvGaming

I'd take the PS3 version simply because I HATE the KB/M setup. But I don't own a PS3 so I'll probably get this for the 360 next year ;)ganon546

You are gonna get owned so bad if you dont use KB/M setup. I'm taking it you have never played an Unreal tournament game so far. They are really fast paced and with controllers you will be just too slow.

Maybe PS3 owners will respect PC gamers more often now, since we will be making their mods/maps for free =p But anyways PC version will be superior imo.

Those could all be PC screens cause Epic has never said "these are PS3 screens over here and these are the PC screens over here", I hate it when devs don't say which version is which, we allways have to wait until Gamespot or IGN posts their own screenshots.no_submission

2. The ps3 version can use pc mods and has kbam support with free servers and has no dropped content from the pc version

3. The 360 version is late so it "might" have the 2nd best graphics uh that about it

PC gamers are really a unique and funny crowd.

Because while they have the "best" version of a game many times they cannot all play it. For example...the vast majority of PC gamers who brag about Crysis or Bioshock, cannot even play them right now let alone games coming out after them...so they must constantly upgrade..

Yet this type of impulse buying for "teh game" leaves wide gaps between the "I can" and "I can't" groups of PC gamers actually able to even play the game...

Console owners pay one price knowing for 5-10 years they have something that can play that new game, no matter what.
