That game is not going to revolutionize anything. It is going to simply be a good platformer game. Nothing more or less. The character model motion was very fluid but nothing that special.

It is a good game and does look fantastic but it isn't anything special. I think people who are blown away by the graphics really do not play to many other platform games.whocares9

I've played the demo. It's a good game. No more next-gen then Gears, Halo 3, Assassin's Creed or Resistance:FoM. It's like a better version of Tomb Raider with some of Geard of Wars elements thrown in. If definitely worth a purchase, but it's not leap & bound better then some of the other games already out for the PS3 and XBox 360.

As for a score, I'd say 8.0-8.5. I thought Ratchet & Clank would get at least a 9.0, but I was wrong about that, so what do I know.

I concur, UGF makes GEOW look like a bunch of stiff robotic steroid junkies running through dark alleys repeatedly shooting aliens. UDF feels way better than GEOW period.. the melee kicks a** in Uncharted!!!

it doesn't matter how long it is. what matters is the quality of it. see COD4 SP for example. short but sweet.

God of War was one of the best games last gen and I beat it in just over 10 hours.

Dude, it is a platformer with guns. Is ratchet & Clank a shooter? In uncharted I did about as much climbing and jumping as I did shooting.

What does it matter what the guns are? bullets are bullets. what should matter is how intuitive they are to use, andsatisfying to shoot. Uncarted accomplishes those two things. controls are good too. just tweak the sensitivity, up the difficulty, and you have yourself a shootin' good time.

if the starting guns don't trip your trigger, you get a magnum revolver and grenade launcherin the main game. probably one of the sniper rifles that the enemy uses.

Dude, it is a platformer with guns. Is ratchet & Clank a shooter? In uncharted I did about as much climbing and jumping as I did shooting.

Ratchet and Clank = Shooter/Platformer hybrid. That's always been the case.

Saying "failure" isn't a great way to debate anything. The fact that you called Crysis a generic shooter really shows how little you know about it. That is ok though, we are here to talk about uncharted right? Uncharted is flawed in one major way..it borrows way to many gameplay mechanics..the platforming in the game(yes it is a platformer) is typical and stale now and the gunplay is pretty much Gears of War but less intense. The fact that the character looks great when he moves isn't going to instantly boost a games score dramatically. I liked the effects of the water for example, the way when he was wet the exact amount of clothing that I dipped in the demo into the water became wet....not just all of him...but things like this and great looking movement and all that are just details that make a game good but will usualy never save it. It needs to be deep and engrossing ...most improtantly it has to bring something extremely new to gaming.

I've been playing too much COD4 to care about the gunplay in this medicore shooter with Amazing Graphics.

Like I've said the gunplay felt like Total Weaksause.

You fail just becuase you think it's a platformer. It has platforming, but it's not Mario or Prince of Persia.

I could just as easily say the gunplay of Gears of War is like Killswitch, or thee gunplay in Halo(most overrated series ever btw) is a ripoff of Doom.

No game is allowed to do cover based shooting because Gears of War had it a year ago?(something Gears of War wasn't even close to be the first to do).

Crysis has been hyped just becuase of it's graphics really. Other than that it doesn't look like much better than the average PC shooter.
