Crysis has Ray Tracing, SVOGI, 8K Textures
Gotta say Crysis has places and things that looks better and Uncharted 4 has better things and places but Crysis is a remaster of a 2007 game!
Unlike Uncharted 4 2016

Overall I like uncharteds graphics more, both up against Crysis 2007 and the remaster of Crysis.
It even has realistic ocean and weather simulation, which I really like.
Crysis still looks fine after so many years, it's a game that nailed a "realistic artstyle" and never really aged
For the record:
Uncharted was never remastered, this is just the PS4 version running unlocked on both the PS5 and PC.
The only extra work Iron Galaxy put in on PC was allowing for upscaling techniques.
Audio and visuals are unchanged from PS4.
It's also a better vidya game.
Crysis is a linear game with open ended segments.
Uncharted 4 is a linear game with open ended segments.
If Crysis didn't have that cool powersuit, these games would be way closer together than I would've thought :O
Comparing a PC remaster of the biggest brreakthrough in videogame graphics history with an unlocked PS4 title, made to run on 2013 hardware.
third person crysis looks weird.

know what you mean. might just be nostalgia from a game i've got so much from over the years but there does seem to be a bit of a timeless element to crysis' visuals. playing crysis back at launch when i was an uber pc nerd was very very special. last time i revisited a year or two ago i did feel like the gameplay was starting to show its age a bit which was kind of sad but still one of my all time faves

actually this is a remaster of the consoles version Ps3/360.
and this is uncharted 4 running on PC

Please...I know you're talking about in relation to crysis but still. I wouldn't use the word 'simulation'.
@fantasygamer: Uncharted 4 on PC is just the PS4 version but instead of being locked to 1080p/30fps you can play it in 4K/120+ if you have an RTX 4090.

But on PC settings there is an Option to choose
(enhanced model quality)
maybe better reflections/shadows too.
@warm_gun: you read "4k/120+" and interpret that as badly optimized?
No it's not badly optimized at all. Iron Galaxy did a terrific job.
For the record: PS5 runs it at either 4k/30 or 1440/60 so that is why I waited for the PC version. As I didn't want to choose between either 4k or 60fps.

To need a 4090, for games that came out five to six years ago? Yes, badly optimized.

He was simply giving it as an example, you are making a mountain out of a moleheap.
A shitheap.

No, that's what you did. I brought it up because it's disappointing to learn. Game made for 2013 hardware needing a 4090 for 4K 120, unbelievable.

The game ran at 1080p/30fps on PS4. To go from 1080p/30fps to 4K/120fps requires 16 times the GPU performance with the same settings. That is not even taking into account any enhancements that Ultra settings bring, which make the game more demanding. So, how is the PC port badly optimized?
@warm_gun: Old games with still great graphics.
running at 4K/120 fps requires (quite literally) FOUR times the power of a PS5. as it runs 4K/30fps. I am pretty sure the RTX 4090 can get even higher FPS though.
What is utterly pathetic is graphics cards like the 4080 or 3090 Ti (where I am from) that are in stock costing $2500 and barely getting 90-100fps in games like this.
@warm_gun: Actually nevermind lol, the RTX 4090 only gets 105 fps at 4K (roughly 3.5x PS5 performance), meanwhile the RTX 3090 barely hits 60 fps.
The PS5 is pretty much exactly on par with an RTX 3060

What a world we live in, Crysis no longer looks like a next gen game.
Personally I like UC4 better I think its use of color is better than the oversaturated look of crysis. graphically I can't differentiate.
Yeah I think Uncharted edges it out because its jungles are a bit denser and I just love the colors that truly shine in HDR.
On the other hand Crysis has more open levels, so it's great to see it can still go toe to toe with modern games.

Oh, they didn't list the regular 6800. Wonder what I'd need to disable for 4K 60 Hz. I like Lost Legacy, but it's way overpriced right now.
@fantasygamer: Nope, everything was unaltered from the PS4 version. It was simply ported to PC and PS5.
I can tell you one thing that was added: dualsense support.
I am not sure but i do see enhanced model quality in PC settings
is it on OG PS4 too?

yeah, everything you see running on PC is the same that is running on PS4.
It's just that PS4 has a lower (as well as reconstructed) resolution and can only display at a max of 30 frames.
In other words this isn't a remaster, it's just a port.
