With xbox gamers gone mad on twitter due to no announcements from MS at the game awards show, to Xbsex/S games price increase to 70.00 and now fears of Game Pass price increase, I now believe that allowing anything xbsex living rent free in my head was a bad mistake.

It is inevitable that the price would increase for their subscription service. You're still getting bang for your buck, if what everyone says about GamePass is true.

It will happen. PS Plus is the more affordable choice. $99.99 a year and you get way more games.

It is going to happen. Especially if the Acti/Blizz deal goes through. The amount one would get for the asking price at that point is pretty amazing. On top of that, the price has been steady since its launch, and anyone who thought it would stay that price forever was definitely being naive.

Yep, Game Pass will inevitably go up in price. Same as PS+ and Nintendo Switch Online. I will happily stay subscribed to it until I feel that it isn’t worth it to me to do so. When that day arrives I will have no problem unsubscribing and will have zero regrets with the time I spent enjoying my time with the service.

Duh, will be an even bigger waste of money. Subs are a rip off for dumb dumbs, always laugh at those smucks.

Maybe one day MS will take away physical and digital options, wouldn't surprise me.

Their big 2023 release is a randomly generated rpg made by Bethesda, running on an egine from 1988. Believe me, you don't want to know what they're thinking, because its sad, really really sad. I truly wish they have something worthwile for the next year, they've suffered enough, but unfortunately, a randomly generated buggy mess is their biggest game, and this is simply nerve wracking. The likes of sealionact, dabear, tdkmillsy, they're all gonna be incredibly desperate for the next year, so please, don't laugh at their misery.

I wish they did tiers. I don't need day one exclusives. I'll probably sub again next year regardless of price. When you consider how much people were willing to pay for cable tv, these sub services seem dirt cheap.

I think the funny part is lems over the summer we’re like , MS is soooo consumer friendly they will never raise the price on game pass , and of course my friend statement from them was , MS cares about the gamers they will never raise the price on their games.

And as said above, if there comes a time that the price isn't worth it to me and it no longer is a bargain, then I'll unsubscribe and go back to buying games normally. But it'd have to go up ALOT for that happen.

I guess there's still the "trick" to getting it cheap, but in a future where that doesn't exist and you only have the choice to pay a high price per month kind of like Netflix, there's only one way to use a subscription service. Just get it one month, IMMEDIATELY CANCEL, so that way you don't buy another month, play all the games you are most interested in playing and then move onto a different service. I think I can watch all the netflix shows/movies by doing at most one month of subscription a year, just make that my Netflix month.
