What I can say now is:

I guess Ubisoft isn't going to abandon the PS4.

I don't buy multiplatforms on PC if I have a non-DRM console physical retail alternative as I am a collector and prefer options like sell/trade/gift/lending games. Then again, I don't buy much Ubisoft games other than Rayman anyways. These sales figures seem to indicate that many customers (silent majority) may agree with avoiding DRM.

ps4 will be the definitive version this gen. #whatsaPC

they are trying to kill PC gaming with uplay, watchdogs performance, still PC gamers give them the most of $

Suprised it has sold so well...graphics aside, puts infamous ss sandbox to shame

This was the expected scenario when Microsoft went full on anti consumer a year ago. Perhaps it's a good learning curve for them and it will push them to become better overall.

someone could download any video, then upload that video to YouTube to make the most direct comparison. Prediction: YouTube's compression is quite lossy, so data will have to go missing, therefore the screens ex-YT will lose to the screens "ex-direct".

but just so we're on the same page mate, as good as infamous 2nd son looks, it pales in comparison to some max quality 60 fps star citizen vid I saw.

if i want graphics i'll further upgrade my pc, not get a ps4.

Considering how much shit Ubisoft said about PC, I expected that WD sold miserably low. This is actually quite good.

PS4 Made Up Largest Part of Ubisoft Game Sales During the Last 3 Months, Doubles Xbox One and PC Sales

Last week, publisher Ubisoft revealed that its recent game releases have sold very well. So well, in fact, that the company's sales in the last three months have risen 374 percent over the same time period in 2013. But one of the big questions during Ubisoft's earnings call was how those sales were distributed over the platforms. On the day of the call, the company also published a breakdown of the software sales by system, and it turns out that games sold best on the PlayStation 4 by a wide margin.

Driven by a very strong performance by March's release of Watch Dogs, over 50 percent of Ubisoft's software revenue came from the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 during the past three months. But Ubisoft games on the PS4 sold much better than on Xbox One. Sales on the PS4 made up 36 percent of Ubisoft's revenue, more than double the One's 17 percent. It's interesting to note that PS4 revenue also more than doubled sales on PC, which came in at 14 percent of total sales.

You can check out the entire console breakdown over the last three months below. Software sales for the Wii U, Vita, and 3DS were negligible over this time period.

Ubisoft makes horrible games, they make the most money on the PS4 because they have the lowest standards.

there is a clear distinction between lame real gameplay screenshots with nothing special to them and other really fantastic screeshots with visuals that are not present in the real game

yes if it's not from photo mode then i guess motion blur is also captured, which would definitely affect the aesthetic of a screenshot. i recommend gamersyde direct feed footage if people really want to see what something really looks like.

Well... if I was limited to a console like PS4 ... I would probabyl desperatly buy any big game it manages to grab, given that its pretty baron...
