Megaton.

“The Adventures of Captain Toad” has players navigating environments with gyrosensor controls. Your goal is to collect five green stars while being tactful when encountering enemies. Jumping appears to be disabled in this mode, making it much more difficult to take down foes. IGN says the experience “feels a lot more like a puzzle game.”

and

"Nintendo is additionally packing in a second new mode known as “Mystery House”. Players are tasked with completing a series of timed courses while collecting green stars. It’s said to be based on the Mystery Boxes found in Super Mario 3D Land, though in this mode, there are more boxes connected in the courses. While it may seem a wee bit more difficult than in looks, it’s easy to determine what you did wrong when making a mistake."

mmmmhm.

Sounds kewl. What do you 5 WiiU owners think?

I'd also like to add that this content will be included in the game from day 1. UNLIKE SOME GAMES.

A link in case you thought I made this up, which I could if I wanted to >:(

One of your best posts.

OT: Despite the lack of violence, I think this might be a good game.

Meh, add in online co-op. All I would want. In this online era of gaming Nintendo still refuses to put online in the majority of their games that would benefit from it.

I enjoy the additions, especially the multiplayer. When it comes to these 3d marios like Galaxy, 2, 3d Land, I find them almost unreplayable after the first run through.

@FlamesOfGrey: Online co-op for this game does not sound appealing to me whatsoever. These types of games are meant to be played in the same room.

I repeat myself a lot here, but Super Mario 3D World is my most anticipated new-release, apart from South Park: SoT, and I don't even own a Wii U (yet).

That's a preference thing. I don't live in a close distance to the people I play multiplayer games with and getting them together just to play some Mario co-op isn't going to happen. While there is nothing wrong with local co-op, this is the online era of gaming and Nintendo needs to get with it.

@Jolt_counter119: Meant to be played in the same room? Who made up this rule? Dumbest thing I ever heard. You can say this nonsense about any game. Bullocks man.

It's there as far as I know. In the extended trailer they showed people connecting with their Mii's and playing the game, after a convinient " Connect to the Internet!" cutaway :P

I'm pretty sure there is no online co-op unless something changed recently. Same for Mario Party 3DS launching on the same day.

This is pretty dumb. Not having online co-op in the year 2013.

Considering 3/8ths of the 360 install base is not online, I would presume a large amount or perhaps the majority of Wii U gamers don't game online. As for personal preference - I prefer local co-op over the inherent disconnect of online co-op. I mostly play FPSs online, and the PC is by far the best option for that. Consoles are great for local co-op, and I'm happy to see Nintendo are continuing the trend of catering to it's audience. (I still think the Wii was a cancer on gaming, though.)

For me.

I've ever only enjoyed online playing competitively or for games based on the online component. I do not see the fun in online mario platforming whatsoever. But whoever said no online for Mario Party, that's pretty ridiculous.

Here you go guys. At around 4:33. I think that I intreperted that right lol Knowing Ninty I wouldn't be surprised if it's not co-op :P

Well there wasn't any initially. We'll have to wait for an official confirmation. My interest will go up if there is online co-op though.

What's the point of playing mario party online? You can't ruin any friendships that way

Mebe.

Even so, it's not like we could play this together because

A. You'd rather have me spend a million dollars on building a PC instead of getting a WiiU >:(
B. THIS GAME DOESN'T HAVE ONLINE MULTIPLAYER >>>>>>:(
