So, recently video games have been blamed by fuckwads for gun violence and all the bad things in the world. To prove that is the case there's another study that affirms it!

Oh wait...

Of course not.

There is not even a correlation to run your hypothesis with.

I personally thinks its cars. People sit in traffic and they get nuts then want to shoot people.

I would vote for banning cars. The only real solution.

I draw this conclusion out of extensive research, done by me, myself and i.

I played GTA 1&2 as a kid, played Soldier of Fortune as a kid

I played so many other gorey and violent video games growing up, as well as watched a lot of violent movies.

I have no urge to go out and kill people, because I'm a sane person. I have no urge to go out and save the world, I just want to stay inside and play video games.

Video games tend to show violence because we as a species are violent and our media: movies, series, books and games reflect that.

It's not the other way around, games don't make us violent, movies don't make us violent. Because we already were and always will be.

My father asked me the other day, because of when Trump tried blaming the Parkland shooting on video games, he wanted to know how many people/things I killed in video games over the three decades I've been at it. I was like "I dunno, millions easily".

There's so much wrong with the hypothesis that games cause violence that it's a non-starter.

All those internet 4chan/reddit nerds who love Trump oddly enough become quiet when video games, cannabis, and net neutrality are brought up.

I mean, any sane person already knows this. It's the "let's blame something else" crowd that needs to make that correlation.
