Top 5 Reasons Why Watch Dogs > GTA 5

1. It´s a new IP with a SCI-FI background that involves espionage and complots. VS typical Rockstar´s story: from a typical low-life thug towards the crime lord.

2. It´s a next gen title made for PC as a lead development platform. GTA 5 is made for 8-year old consoles.

3. We have a ton of information about Watch Dogs and we only have a bunch of bullshots and one or two cinematic trailers for GTA 5. Why Rockstar keep it secret ? Is this because console graphics suck  so much that they don´t want to show them before the launch ?

4. GTA is overrated. The franchise didn´t evolve since GTA 3. It was cool in GTA 3, it was cool in Vice City, it went on being cool in San Adreas, it became tiresome in GTA4.

GTA is not that great. I still have to finish the Liberty City´s Stories. I just got burned on GTA 4.

5. Watch Dogs is coming on PC day 1. Who wants to torture himself ´playing GTA 5 in 720p and 25 fps without mods ? Without mods, cars don´t run as one wants, weapons don´t shoot as one wants, cars are not licensed, physics suck, etc.

Consolites are excited about this game because they have nothing else to play this year. I woult be excited about GTA 5 as well if it was the last game I will get before my last gen console goes into oblivion.

In the end, I bet GTA V will still pack in more content, and play far more smoothly. GTA games are the top quality open world games, no way Watch Dogs will change that. That said, I still believe it'll be a good game, but nowhere near the greatness of GTA V.

3. Since many of the released GTA V pics contain visible technical shortcomings like jaggies, I don't believe they're bullshots. I do agree the game will look abomindable on consoles, though, but no problem, will wait for the PC version.

4. That is just flat out wrong. R* tried new things over GTA games, every main installment packs in a lot of variety and quality content.

This. Its just pure, unadulterated butthurt because he can't get the game day 1, so he has to try to downplay how good this game is going to be.

The recent PS4 showing of Watch Dogs has had a major downgrade in graphics from the original E3 demo. The PC and Durango versions should be much better though.

Still i'm not really hyped for this, it gives me an Assassins Creed 1 vibe i.e looks interesting but ultimately disappoints :?

That also means nothing, coming from a PC Gamer.... graphics might be better, but gameplay is FAR from gaurenteed.

Actually GTA 4 evolved and improved alot of elements, its one downfall was the lack of createive/fun world and missions, which looks like this is going to be fixed with GTA5 ... so wrong again.

Overall I see Watch Dogs as yet another Ass Creed, Far Cry 3 styled game where its unique elements in yet another typical sandbox will bec ome dull and reptitive within 2 hours of play. GTA 5 on the other hand..... will be alot more like vice city and san andreas with the added benefits of a current gen engine..... that GTA4 had.
