This isn't a discussion of "I'm a cow and I'm going to shit on the perception of a game all over this subforum", this is about what people who have actually played these games think of them, who cares about the rest, they're dumb as shit and don't have a leg to stand on.

But the rest have a bad rep. I've seen more hate for Quantum Break than The Order.

None of them have a bad rep, they have a skewed perception from a vocal group of fanboys in opposition who have never actually played them, big difference.

I don't go around in real life and ask people their opinions on games. I'm just going with what I see online. I'm sure most of us do. If you're in direct contact with hundreds of gamers in real life that's awesome, but I'm not.

Having read the impressions of a lot of people in this place regarding Quantum Break, it's easy to say that it's generally disliked. Mind you, I didn't take your review or thoughts about the game into account, due to your fanboy behaviour. It's nothing personal. I just prefer a more non-biased source.

Has nothing to do with that, I despise Call of Duty but I'm not arrogant or stupid enough to call it "generally disliked", nor would I call those other games that because they're not. Any rational person on the internet who actually pays attention to the games they're discussing is able to clearly discern between the shit posting from fanboys and actual views of players. The receptions from those games have been favorable from people who have played them, not perfect obviously, but favorable.

Did you really just post the unverified PC Metacritic user reviews for the game? Did you think I wouldn't call you out on that, the game has been plagued with functionality problems unrelated to the actual game itself, that's pathetic.

@dynamitecop: It's a damn shame the game shipped the way it did on both platforms. Technical issues abound, but yeah, at least Microsoft will patch it. That's what they're all about this generation.

And as I've stated before, I know the people on this board very well. I know which ones I can trust when it comes to impressions of a video game. And it just so happens, that these people dislike Quantum Break. It's just how it is, and Metacritic also shows this. I hope Remedy's new project will be better and without Microsoft holding them back. It's no secret that they've been decreasing in both popularity and quality since they've joined them.

@I_Even_Lift: @freedomfreak: To be fair Freedom the QB user score you posted was from the PC version, the X1 version has a 7.5. Also most people who played Quantum Break really seem to like it, myself included. Halo 5 is also generally liked, especially for its multiplayer. I think cows on this board just make these games seem more unliked than what they really are.

I think that's about it... Most games that are generally disliked I dislike too, for the most part. I'll add in I love Resident Evil 5. But I've seen more mixed receptions of that then negative.

@Heil68: I wouldn't say Lost Odyssey is generally disliked, most people on here seem to love it actually. You're other 4 choices though... Yeah they are disliked lol.

Metroid Prime 3 is the big one for me. I had a great time with the game, but most seem to see it in the range of average to garbage.

More recently would be SFV, but that's an odd one. Lauded by the fighting game community, despised by everyone else. No middle ground really.

Which is exactly what I said, they setup this perception that these games on an opposing platform are garbage or generally disliked when that's simply not the case.

Take The Order 1886 for example, sure a lot of Xbox people took stabs at it, but look at the PlayStation community, they're driving the knife into it just as bad, that's not happening with Quantum Break, Halo 5 or even Killer Instinct of all things.

They're generally well received games, not generally disliked.
