So Saints Row 5 and Saints Row Battle Royal.

I would really love a new proper Saints Row game I miss the series.

I look forward to them proudly announcing Epic Store exclusive.

THQ has so many IP’s. Desperados III was a great surprise last year.

Fantastic choice of developer as well.

Shadow Tactics was a gem.

The sad thing is you're probably right.

It really ruined the series for me. I loved RF2 and was really disappointed when they changed the formula of the series.

I have absolutely no hope that Volition knows how to make a good game anymore.

But if they can make another Saint's Row like 1&2, than yeah sure, I'd like another one.

Do they have the rights to Freespace? That would be neat, but this is probably a Red Faction.

I think Crytek still owns that license :(

Freespace would be good but id guess that to be the remake rather than a new game if that is one of them. A new Company of Heroes or Supreme Commander would be nice. I'd be most excited for Freespace than any of those though especially if it had the option to play in VR but lats I heard Interplay bought Freespace from THQ years ago. Iv personally never liked any Saints Row game so I hope it isn't that and TimeSplitters would be disappointing for me as it wasn't all that either.

I know why you hate open world games, its because you get lost without structure and being told where to go, but some of us like to use the freedom of what open world brings.

The best RF game was Guerrilla and to go a linear corridor shooter would be a massive step back.

we have 10000 of open world games available but very very few linear FPS this gen. Doom craps all over on any other open world game ie Assassins creed 46 and Far cry 32.

open world means repeteiveness, poor level design, fetch quest, boredom. and thats what we have 99% of games today. new open world red faction will be same far cry or assasssins creed with different tone.

Metro Exodus show how to do sandbox game without going fully open world. it has tons of freedom but thats not scarifies for having bland open world.

Hey if you like the devs to hold your hand and navigate you from point A to point B then more power to you, but some of us like the option to tackle the game in multiple ways.

linear games have better progression and better level design.

most open world games have really bland open world that consist of same sidequest over and over again. plus open world games can be hand holding.

Open world doesnot give you many option as compare to semi open sandbox games like Metro or Stalker or Deus Ex. these games give you choice to complete mission in multiple way.

and im pretty sure most people agree with me on how bland and dull most open world games are today.

so tell me how open world red faction will be different from assassins creed/watch dogs/gta/far cry??
