This is what happens when you take the proportions of cartoon/Nintendo Mario's face and apply real-world characteristics to it. It was created using Photoshop and a bunch of features from a bunch of real faces. It is currently creeping the heck out of me.

Whether you kidding around or not it's the truth. Mario is in 85% of Nintendo's games and the more realistic he looks the more obvious it becomes that he's a pretty lame character. He was a good character back when graphics were bad enough that trying to make a character look cool was pointless, but nowadays the only thing cool about a short, fat plumber is nostalgia.FerdMertz

Are you just trying to be humorous or do you actually believe the things you're typing? The TC's picture is funny..... but you can continue to increase the quality of graphics again and again and again... without ever going for Photorealism.... Have you ever seen the movies "The Incredibles or Monsters Inc." the visuals in those movies are very detailed and beautiful.... but in no way look Photorealistic.... the same thing can be done with Mario in the future......

That seems like a bit an over estimate, more like maybe 40% or 50% I would say.

By that I meant it really looks like an accurate picture of Mario with the whole shape of his head and his nose size being perfect but the eyes seem way off and kinda scary. Not in the way your thinking lol, maybe I should have worded it better.

It's not necessarily due to graphics that Mario looks the way he does, but because of art style.

Nintendo could make him look like that, but it would be creepy as hell.
