I am a fan of japanese rpgs because of the characters, music, worlds, and etc. I will need to play them next gen and would gladly buy the system that had a host of them . Anyone else?

Hell yes, I hope it's PS4, I miss the good old PSX and PS2 jRPGking days.
y'know.
people say things like this but if they were serious about it they would have a
.
there it is... the traditional jrpg box of your dreams.
15 new exclusives and 8 new ips.... wait until e3 until you make claims like thatSame here. But we all know that PS4 is the only console that will do jrpgs, because Xbox One only does shooters. This conference proved it.

Well, Level-5 is confirmed working on a PS4 game. Plus, Sony Japan Studio will probably work on an RPG for PS4 so there's two games.
Microsoft dominated console JRPGs over Sony at first with Star Ocean, The Last Remnant, Blue Dragon, Lost Odyssey, etc. I hope Sony works on that this generation.
Hate to bear bad news, but Mistwalker (Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon) is now with Nintendo and the Last Remnant is better on PC. Xbox One is pretty much only going to appeal to North America and Europe (FIFA and Madden are huge in EU and NA respectively).Well, Level-5 is confirmed working on a PS4 game. Japanese games are gonna make a comeback im not sure if rpg style will but this xbox one is gonna put the nail in the coffin for allot of western developers they keep trying to push cash grab style of play and online and users will shift to japan. The xbox one will make japan relevant again.

Oh, no doubt. I was just pointing that Microsoft made the jump on Sony this generation. True, Microsoft might fumble the JRPG market next generation (granted they might as well not even try since the Xbox brand sells like crap in Japan).
I hope JRPG developers will be more interested in the PS4 due to the easier to develop for architecture.
Yes, which is why I bought a 3DS.
PC gaming covers my bases pretty well outside of Nintendo and JRPGs.
[QUOTE="the-obiwan"][QUOTE="Joedgabe"]perverted jrg? probably getting JRPG and Dating Sim mixed up. Y'know these kids only play CoD. lol i just want quality jrpgs not those sims or lame jrpg that like finalstar2007 guy..those games don't exist anymore..... unless you like perverted JRG's..Â

We need RPG's to die out entirely. They are an abomination and should be replace by more awesome racing games and platformers.

Meanwhile the Sony conference's main game was a Shooter. oh the irony.Same here. But we all know that PS4 is the only console that will do jrpgs, because Xbox One only does shooters. This conference proved it.

You better get the Wii U &/or PS4, then. Nintendo's & Sony's platforms always guarantee something like JRPG's.

JRPGs have primarily moved to Handhelds. It's why Shin Megami IV is a 3DS game and not a console title.
