holy c**p u played this... it was amazing, 2nd weren't as good but damm that was great game... got some c**p reviews but I loved it... don't you just love it when your 13 or 14 back in the early 90's not having the Internet and not really caring about review scores lol.

Yeah, those were the best days for gaming.

I thought the 2nd one was slightly improved over the first one, especially the gameplay

Personally, I liked Dark Forces.

That and KOTOR left endelible impressions on me

KOTOR is the best STAR WARS game to date, but I liked Republic Commando so much I'm so angry LA didn't make a sequel a left the game with in cliff hangar.

Jedi Knight 2: Jedi Outcast/KOTOR/Dark Forces

Between those IMO.

Jedi Outcast was total ownage, but TIE Fighter is probably the best Star Wars game ever, simply because it felt so good to be bad.

I just finished KOTOR in about 2-3 days and I gotta say it is amazing for a game that came out in 2003: it looked great and the gameplay hasn't suffered from old age. There are some flaws by todays standards, but it's still amazing and should be played by any gamer or rpg fan. However, I gotta say, having finished it 15 minutes ago, I was hugely dissapointed by the ending.

JK:Outcast and Jedi Academy were also amazing star wars games.

Tie Fighter.

X-wing was great, but Tie Fighter was so incredibly polished and well done.

Runners up would be Rebel Assault, in it's day it was spectacular, regardless if it was on rails or not, it was really well done considering the hardware we had back in the day.

Kotor was great too, and Republic Commando was way underrated.

Question though:

Why are so many people saying Xwing vs Tie Fighter? That was a terrible game.

Kotor was IMO the best Star Wars game ever to graced the planet Earth, I just loved every aspect of it from story to gameplay (using all types of power was awesome) not to mention the multiple ending depending on the path you took during the game. Everything was so well done that after completing it for the first time, it made me replayed it again.

It's probably not the best out there, but the original Battlefront is always going to be my top SW game.Strife88

Either Jedi Academy (Seems like I'm the only one..) and Republic Commando. Amazing games.

But I grew up with all the others, for nastalgic purposes, pretty much all of them

You should also try JK Outcast, imo it was one of the best games last gen.

KOTOR, incredible game, much better than the second trilogy, we need a true next-gen sequel that is non-linear

But offcourse we get the crappy MMO instead

Star Wars Battlefront 2 was a good imrpovement

Star Wars Battlefront Rouge Squardon they kind of slipped on, but all 3 were good. Can't wait for Battlefront 3 :D
